Anyone see that Russian language interview Goldobin gave? Like I’ve been saying all along, the dude isn’t compatible anywhere other than Pettersson’s line & he knows it. Completely lost in a non-technical dump & chase game... Wants to play cerebral puck possession & spacing (as does Petey). Hope he shows up to camp & tries to win a top line job. He knows where he’s fallen short... He knows what’s expected... Truly the only skillset on this roster fully capable of creating with Elias at his level. |

That’s great, wonder if TG sees it the same way. |

Playing with EP may drive his trade value up. I was saying that for the first 2 or 3 months last season. Drive the value up and try and cash in but regardless... his value probably diminished anyhow.
Even if he has success with EP,,, thats a pretty limited situation especially with how inconsistent he is. I predict he wont want to go to Utica and Green will need to see undeniable value in having him in the line up. More of the same as last year wont do it. I bet he goes for the KHL before reporting to Utica.... |

Apparently he hangs out with TG in his office (talking hockey) often & their relationship is good... Obviously he’ll have to absolutely dazzle in whatever mins he gets in that role in the preseason to have any chance of starting the season there... 10% shot at best IMO... But the highest upside/value build opportunity we have on this team. |

I like the fact that players (both young and old) are starting to be more vocal about the direction of the team, roster quality, and strategy deployment.
The fact they have to do it through the media also speaks volumes. |

Spot on. Saying it is one thing but following up with action is another. I just find TG’s doghouse choices a bit bizarre. Hope goldy gets a clean slate to start this season. |

I know he's a playmaker,r but the dude needs to finish better if he wants to stick with EP. He had some bad luck last year(I feel like he lead the team in shorts that hit crossbars/posts), but he needs to finish on those beautiful passes that EP sets up for him.
I get what you're saying though, the reason why he gets those great scoring chances with EP is because they both have chemistry in the offensive zone. |

He knows it & said so... Apparently he’s been working hard. Hope it all translates. |

Holy crap, I’d do it in a second. For those of us who believe we need more team toughness, Conner is exactly the player the Canucks need. Tough but not goonish with loads of skill.
Let’s face it, BB’s as soft as butter. |

What's the point? They're fairly similar players and both holding out for contracts... |

I'm not sure he's super soft just plays tentatively at times and defensive lapses.
Connor is a machine switched on all the time from what I've seen.
But Boeser does have the potential to score more so some trade offs. |
