I'm the first to jump all over goaltenders and their shortcomings but without Miller his first season in Van we don't make no PO's. Now his second and third seasons lol...

get out of here with that weak ass trolling, it's going to take a lot more effort to get me to whip out my internet d!ck and start stroking it for you you.

BJ, Annoyance 101, and Scooby would be disappointed in you

No. Minivan stated last blog that my presence is driving everyone away. So I was worried that I may have offended you and you would no longer come here.

I thought Vantel gave me a pass but apparently I’m still a monster... a monster who still thinks Miller was a piece of poop.

Lack would have been our number 1, so I imagine a significant amount.

He wasn’t a piece of poop. He was the kernel of corn in said poop.

Wow Cuban, I think that’s the nastiest post I’ve seen you write. It made me happy.

I generally don’t dump on a player but something about Miller rubbed me the wrong way. I didn’t think he was a particularly good face for the team. His media interactions were horrendous.

But... that’s just factually incorrect so... you’re not really offending anyone.cause no one cares that much and Miller was undeniably a good player for us so ya... carry on.

I don't know if it's just your avatar but you've always reminded me of a scarecrow.

Undeniably? I don’t think that word means what you think it means.

I think there is a load of deniable (a dumpster full of deniable) that his presence on this team had any meaningful impact.

I see your point. Much like the Sedins since 2012 . Keeping them in mediocrity . Stinting the rebuild. Not getting prospects back in a trade. Seems like Canucks have been in that mode long before Benning

Numbers are either good or bad. For example, mcdavid had a good because he had over 100 points. Miller was good for us cause his save percentage was over .910 every year for us. Some numbers just indicate success or ability that, yes, is undeniable. Even if you didnt care for his interviews

The best argument so far is the positive impact the playoffs had on Bo. That was from nucker and it’s still pretty weak.

Bo did play well in the 6 games he played but funny enough Miller only played three of those six.

So what? An above average save percentage during regular season and one playoff win in 3 years. Meaningless.

You got anything else?

Well Nucker is trolling so if you want to talk seriously the most crippling thing in the last decade was hanging on to the twins and trying to build around them.

I laugh at you guys when I see the comments about high draft picks and prospects. Can you imagine what the return on the Twins would have been and imagine finishing last place without them seven years ago?

Everyone knew it was time but we hung on for five more years hoping they could have one more shot.

Hate to tell you I told you so but I told you so.

You took a lot of heat for recognizing the future problems of trying to stay competitive by riding out the Sedins for another 6 years. Ironically its the same group of people who have lost their sh!t over Benning stepping in and attempting what you warned them of.

All roads lead back to hanging on too long to players . Signing players that come as a package is beyond stupid also.

Yup, and it won't change anytime soon. Like DCT said, there may be a window to trade Markstrom and even get a reasonable return. We'll see if that ever materializes.

It depends on Demko. There’s no window unless Demko opens it. And of course, Markstrom needs to replicate last season to have any value as a rental.

It is a fair point by DCT . I am not sure I agree about moving him in the offseason but I can see a goalie move at TDL

In 2015/2016, Miller had a .919 S%, tied for 30th among goalies who played 20 or more games.

The Canucks finished 6th in the division, 13th in the conference with a goal differential of -52.

So I ask again, just how much worse could they have been without Miller? One spot in the division/conference, two spots in the league.

Miller wasn’t bad, but he had ZERO impact on team success, because there wasn’t any.
