I don't think Bo is a playmaking centre nor is he a scoring centre. I don't think he compliments EP's skill set. I don't think you have a choice but play EP at centre to give him full control of the ice.

And that's just the first line.

Oh I totally agree, they'd be better apart than together. Realistically I would probably trade Goldy and then slide Miller over and Baertschi down to the 3rd

I'm assuming it's been like this most of the summer? I've been off work for 6 weeks so I haven't really been in here at all

The roster is still not balanced yet. Combinations aren't obvious. It's going to be interesting to see what TG makes of it out of camp.

Team has improved but unless a few players step up more than they have.

I'm actually not allowed to smoke weed again. The government says i'm in too much of a safety sensitive position. I have to be clean 28 days before working.

I am going to guess 96 points this year. I think we fixed a few holes from last year and the theme might be to attack this year unlike other years where we were in let's try and keep it close mode.

It seems there's a consensus in the media that we will finish either 4th or 5th in the division, missing the playoffs by around 5 points. I don't mind that projection, as it'll keep us invested right till the end whether they make it or not

I thought 96 points for this season. Some canucksarmy guy did some math and came up with 97 points.

That's 3rd in the division in last years standings. That's also head of Colorado and Dallas in the wild card spots.

If Van has more points, they are probably taking away a few points from the other teams in our division.

Could see it looking like the Central from last season. 10 points separating 1st from 5th.

I see the Flames, Jets, Blues, Preds as the western teams in danger of taking steps backwards this year, but I expect the Central to be strong as a whole again. In my mind if we are going to make the playoffs the most likely scenario would have to be us taking Calgarys playoff spot away. I could also see sneaking into the 2nd WC though if multiple Central teams falter.

VGK is an injury or two away on the D or G from being a mid 80's team. No depth. Blues without Bibs being stellar again aren't a cup worthy team. Dallas take a few more points away from the other central teams. Same with Colorado. Chicago and Minny getting left behind.
