Difficult to say but obviously Vegas/Nashville have stronger teams today but if they fail to win during the next couple of years, I like the Canucks "24 and under" core of players/prospects more than either of those teams.

You need a deep team and some luck with health to win the cup.

I really like Nashville's chances this year. They have two pretty legit PP lines on paper. As long as Rinne still has some gas left they are the team to beat. Stone in Vegas is still scary. Tough team to play, but I still think that D is suspect. Both teams are tough up the middle though. I wonder when/If LA deals Kopitar/Carter and for that matter Dewy. should be able to get decent return still if they really are rebuilding.

VAN is an injury or two away on the D or G from being a mid 80's team. No depth. Blues without Bibs being stellar again aren't a cup worthy team. Dallas take a few more points away from the other central teams. Same with Colorado. Chicago and Minny getting left behind.

San Jose lost Big Joe/Little Joe Nyquist and Donskoi totaling 85 goals and still yet to replace them. They have 4.6 mil in cap room to sign two players. They could take a step back
