Member everyone saying about a month ago that some of us were crazy because trades will happen and this roster will look a lot different come September.
That was fun.

Slow your roll, champ. It's hardly even pumpkin spice season.
Trade: The #Bills sent G Wyatt Teller and a 7th round pick in 2021 to the #Browns in exchange for a 5th round pick and 6th round pick in 2020. - Slump Buster
Seeing as how he was a 5th round pick himself,
nice trade by Beane imo

Just last year max pacioretty was traded September 9th so........
Karlsson on the 13th
I don’t want to trade Risto. The overall skill level of this roster is much better than any he has ever played with. Krugs will hopefully implement a customized system designed to utilize the strengths of this particular roster, and foster a much more positive culture. If he still struggles then send him out on a rail, but my guess is we will see a new and improved Risto. And if you still want to trade him for offense, his value will sky high at the deadline. Although if he turns things around, I still want him on this team.

No, but it's been Halloween candy season for 2 weeks already at Wegmans.
I don’t think so. It’s like his 5th pro year I think - OneKaneOneCup
Most likely a goner then
I’d personally keep him over Yeldon though
I really don’t see what Homie likes about him
He’s just a guy
I’d keep McCoy, Singletary, and Gore > Yeldon
Then keep Perry for special teams...
do they count in football? Lol
And I’d keep Wade actually as the 5th
I’d even keep him over Gore as well
Football is a game of matchups
The Pats have been doing this so well for so long
And Wade can give the Bills a matchup advantage
(even if it’s only for a handful of plays a game)
that Gore & Yeldon just don’t give us
Yeldon is a decent pass catching back,
but McCoy is better
And Singletary & Wade look like they could fill that role too
Gore is a nice vet who’s probably great in the room,
but he doesn’t move the needle much anymore
He’s just a guy at this point
I could even be talked into Murphy over Gore & Yeldon for the 5th guy bc he can play special teams

Super bowl - gerbe75pts
I already said we're winning the division at 10-6 and getting a home Wild Card playoff game against the also 10-6 New England Patriots and they are going to smoke us, 47-22.

Wade will be the 11th on the practice squad. Unfortunately for Murphy, he played a lot in the 4th preseason game and Yeldon sat out. Usually means Murphy will
Be cut

Yeah, i don’t think Wade & Murphy will make it
But that’s probably what I’d do
Definitely would like to see Wade on the roster
Need guys with potential to take it to the house every time they touch the ball

Bill Hicks said in the early 90's, during one of his stand-up performances (that Dennis Leary probably stole), something about mediocrity becoming the norm, and what's becoming acceptable in American culture. Being good is now shunned - likewise, intelligence ridiculed, if you can do something someone else can't, it makes you "better" not "lucky".
At some point in the 90's, a meme arrived: "If you don't like it, you can leave!" as if wanting something to be "better" and not just "good enough" is somehow testament to one's hatred for said thing and not one's love - hence the desire for it to be better.
I think that it's related to intelligence in general. - BeadyEyedDouche

It just all depends on the actual numbers and not just overall points for me.
This team needs to rank either close to middle of the pack or above average in the statistical categories that matter.
Expected goal %
Shot differential
Zone exits/entries etc
If this team looks like it’s heading in the above average direction on those categories, but can’t get enough saves to be at 90 points, I’m not firing the GM because he whiffed on a goalie he gave almost no $ and term to. Just get a new one.
Carolina has been a good team for a few years now, but had a low shooting and sv% that made them look worse in the standings.
Comes together for one year and it’s an ECF run with Svechnikov getting better.
The Good thing about this team is that their *should* be linear growth for a few years due to the young players expected to play key roles - OneKaneOneCup

I...don’t care - OneKaneOneCup
I know, I know, you're going to tell me that if we do a deep dive, and calculate the constituent statistics that are compared in determining Expected goal %, Shot differential, and Zone exits/entries etc, we'll find that the team that performs best in those measurements wins somewhere between 87 and 93% of the time.
But, the team that scores more goals wins somewhere around 100% of the time.
