I agree that more focus should be put on winning cups but Dionne should be the one exception. Until relatively recently he was 3rd all time in points with almost all of those coming with the kings. He was a beast. Top 3 for sure

I just cant take this top 10 serious. Gretzky at 3? Anyone who is a long time Kings fan knows Gretzky is number one. The buzz in the arena... I was there when he scored 802, I was there when he batted the puck out of mid air on into the net off a rebound.
While we can all argue the top player in the league and where Gretzky sits. Among the teams he played for Edmonton and LA he is still ranked #1.. the Rangers and St Louis might not have him in their top ten only due to tenure with them.

Quick, Simmer, Doughty on the list instead of Vachon, Goring, Brown. Gretzky only number 3?

Simmonds doesnt belong there. Simmonds was nothing special in LA. He reached his potential after he was traded.

It would be like saying Pronger is the Coyote's best Defender all time. Guy didnt even play a game for them

Agreed 100%.

I'd also say you have to add Doughty and Quick. 2 cups mean too much. I'm good with adding Simmer, entire TC line makes sense. And Rogie was our first jersey retired, you have to keep him. So as much as I hate to say it, Goring, Nicholls and Brown might need to drop. I'd even say maybe keep Brown (again, cups) and drop Blake?

I can kinda get the argument that Gretzky is third because he did so much of his damage with the Oilers, but I think I’m actually having a harder time not putting Quick on the list at all. He quietly put up numbers that the HOF will have to consider when the time comes.

But hey, I’m not a Kings fan, so you guys would have a better guess than I.
