Relating to the discussion yesterday regarding the odds Green gets fired

Scraping the barrel but it's something.

"Green trouble assessing talent" then using EP's first game ever as an example. Same thing with Boeser more or less. Yet I'm sure Green sees it as his process to asses the players cautiously. Things rapidly changed so it's just a strange way to rationalize imo.

Like I said... pickins are slim.

I read the article today. He did used some stats.

I said last season that Sutter when he was playing was not doing very good. Lower then avg shooting percentage and his defensive zone coverage lowest of his career by 3-5 points.
Linemates, a bit of luck. Don't really know why he was that bad last season.

Of course in the article, he compares him to Brad Richardson who had a career year.

I don't really think it's a good idea to always try and defend against the other teams top lines and I think TG said that wouldn't be his first option but Bo and Petey weren't up to it yet.

I think a healthier Sutter and used in conjunction with the rest of the centres can find better form than he did last season.

I'd like to see him given a few more opportunities to score and best his other 3rd line competition.

I still like Sutter . I honestly hope this years team is not looking to shut down and defend. I sure hope we are playing in the other teams end .

There is no more excuses for players or management . They have put together a NHL roster.

As they say time to put up or shut up. If they are sitting somewhere close to 15 th spot then I will consider it a successful year as long as they improve again the following year.

I guess it comes down to how Green coaches this season and deploys lines and match ups.

I haven’t been able to quote anyone. Northy’s idea to move our best center to the wing is ban worthy. It’s that (frank)ing stupid. Top 10 center in the league that’s 20 and we should move him to the wing 🤦🏻‍♂️. I like KC but the trade makes zero sense. Why would WPG do it? If boeser is playing hardball in Van imagine how he would negotiate in Winnipeg

I actually think I understand where he is coming from and agree with most . I was just surprised to see how far Lockwood has fallen from grace.

Injuries. Look what happened to OJ... he was set to get his shot like management said,,, he gets injured and the narrative seems to be not developed enough yet. That happened quick.... he was ready for a chance but he slid down the rankings instead and is mostly an after thought now. I see him get left off many lists even... but he's still an important prospect who will have a low cap hit later.

I think/hope he steps into the lineup when Edler’s contract expires. Personally, he’s my 2nd fav Dman on that entire list.
