Northy and I only post when at work so we kind of get paid for our opinions on here.

Same with me but I'm at home in my cool basement contemplating putting on Led Zepplin III and go dead head the rodos, couple more puffs.

lol. Had a look at my rodos today. They took a beating from the dry weather. I too had a few puffs before investigating.

I think if you polled most of the regulars on here the majority only post when at work.

We can’t throw hate at each other anymore so have to focus our hate on the outside world.

Relating to the discussion yesterday regarding the odds Green gets fired

And how about Ben Hutton? Nikolay Goldobin? There are arguments to be made that neither are full-time NHLers, but if they end up having success in other places, it’ll be hard to reconcile.

If Petey became a full time NHLer somewhere else because TG couldn't develop players I'd be worried.

Van has had a few people develop from the AHL over the years and that's just it, a few. Not everyone is going to become an NHL regular.

I've always wondered how many current NHLers played even half a season in the AHL.

My guesss would be about 35% of the players have played 30 or more AHL games.

Yeah pretty much except for guys who can't at work like Golfing and Nighthawk. Imagine how productive we'd be if we all actually worked 8hrs a day what the (frank) am I talkin about?

Okay.

Not like I passed his word off as truth, just throwing another opinion out there.

I wasn't saying you did
Sorry if you took it that way.

There are so many pop up bloggers . They have no more inside information than me or you. That same article could have been written by anyone here.

I wrote it. My name is actually Nathan.

Just kidding, no it's not and clearly I didn't write it.

Meh, just another article. Doesn't contain anything to even argue about. Kind of pointless to write about a coaching being on the hot seat when there isn't hockey even going on.

Kings in the hunt for Hutton

Dennis Bernstein: The Los Angeles Kings are still in the mix for free agent defenseman Ben Hutton. Can expect a decision from Hutton coming soon.

------

Will Van fans get a chance to give Ben a standing ovation when he returns and steps on the ice as a King?

So little news reported anymore. It’s all opinion pieces. CNN and FOX online are pretty much 90% opinion articles.

It's his job to write pointless babble so people read it and show it to others for them to discuss in a forum such as this.......this Nathan guy knows what he's going.

I going to deadhead a rodo.

My point is now Joe the barber at the corner can write something in between haircuts and it gets re-posted and re-posted and becomes bigger and bigger and the guy has never been to a hockey game in his life.

He was probably a music teacher last year and his boss walked in one Monday and yelled Nathan you are covering sports now. Okay boss what's sports.

That's fine. I don't think anyone is taking it to heart. If he was making a claim like TG should be fired before the season starts, it might have contained something to discuss.

In this case it didn't. It's just for reading pleasure. The pleasure of reading such fine words written by joe blow.

Carols style is fact driven and she does her homework. She talks to the players she travels to the arenas . That is real reporting .

90 percent now are guys sitting at home pissed drunk and angry by the third period hitting up their computers and posting on Twitter.

Look at Tanbir how popular he got in Vancouver media

most sports reporters just started out as reporters. james duthie is the tsn head hockey host and he started at VTV (vancouver television - ctv) as a general reporter. botch started as a general reporter.

having a name doesn't really mean much.

most of the time it's just guys who played/followed sports who went into journalism (in the past) and now "broadcasting" and then gravitated towards the sports department out of choice or opportunity.

I always knew I was just a fan . I never was looking for a following. I don't try to pass myself as an insider. Just another slob on here screaming at the TV and keyboard.

I just come in here to talk to a few people I like

It's an outlet to talk Canucks for me. I don't know that many Canucks fans out here.

I yell at the TV when my soccer team plays but I have the right to do that because they have spent $500 million dollars on player transfers over the past 4 seasons and lost the first game this season without getting a shot on goal.

You want to talk about coaching decisions, Italians are stubborn, stupid, (frank)heads.

I tried to get into soccer but the diving and bad officiating was too much for me.

I was just on twitter and seen The Canucksway asking the official question who are on your official Canucks Mt.Rushmore?

Yesteday and last week they were asking for writers for their blog and other crap .

Daniel Wagner Pass it to Bullsh1t now with his official page saying Sutter is not a real shut down center. Real reporters don't do that kind of writing.

Didn't read either article.

- VANTEL

I read the article today. He did used some stats.

I said last season that Sutter when he was playing was not doing very good. Lower then avg shooting percentage and his defensive zone coverage lowest of his career by 3-5 points.
Linemates, a bit of luck. Don't really know why he was that bad last season.

Of course in the article, he compares him to Brad Richardson who had a career year.

I don't really think it's a good idea to always try and defend against the other teams top lines and I think TG said that wouldn't be his first option but Bo and Petey weren't up to it yet.

I think a healthier Sutter and used in conjunction with the rest of the centres can find better form than he did last season.

I'd like to see him given a few more opportunities to score and best his other 3rd line competition.
