I would be nice to see him succeed. I don't see it happening. I also don't think a change of scenery will help him. He is who he is. I doubt a different coach will be able to get through to him any better.

Not gonna kill him for it, but it'd be nice to see him make some other optional skates prior to camp. Personally speaking, I've pretty much moved on from considering him an option. Not that I don't think he could still ultimately pan out, but I'm not holding my breath either.

He seems, somewhat, Rob Schremp-ish to me. All skill and no commitment to the other side of the puck and I don't see that flying under the new regime.
