To catch up from the last blog....

Marner signed yet?

Trump is a c&nt!

JFJ, Max, MichelUG Ultra and a few others hate Dubas, Babsuck, Leafs prospects and Leafs in general.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of players better than Marner in beer leagues around the world.

Atomic Wedgster and LeafsnBolts are both fellow alumni of Milneford and VP Panthers!!!

VP alumni marry cheerleaders and softball girls. (How did I miss out???)

Wedgster delivered Vaive's paper....must have thrown in the bushes everyday because I saw him once at the strip mall across from Milneford and he told me to (frank) off...angry (frank)3r....I was 12 and just saying hello.

Important Panthers Alumni in order...

5. Palmateer (His burger joint, Palmy's...the steaks subs and fries and gravy almost pushed him to 3)
4. Dan Hill
3. LeafsnBolts
2. Wedgie
1....and me...Mrs. Dressup!!!

Didn’t go to Milneford aka Milne Valley but son did. Moved to Toronto before grade 11. Moved back to Underhill and Cassandra area in 88. Coach, referee, and President at Parkwoods hockey. Great place for kids to start playing hockey. Hockey school by Gord McDonald. Team size limited to ensure more ice time.

Prefer Johnny’s Burgers and miss Copper Kettle and Zing burgers. I also miss my metabolism of my youth.

It's a purely fictional trade proposal for summer talk and poops and giggles.

As I said all players would be in their primes in this hypothetical situation.

Mogilny Leetch are no-brainers.

It's a toss-up after that.

I'd probably go Roberts.

Johnny's actual burgers have gone downhill but their fries, gravy and onion rings are still top notch.

Was that me???

My incident was right in front of the variety store....that's where I bought my Player's Lights to go sit on the wall and smoke with my 12 year old friends.
(...and also smoking at 12, (frank)ing Scarborough kids)

Same for me. Keep in mind AW, on about to crack beer 6 and have already herbal essenced twice.

Got back from Varadero at 1am. Still in vacay mode. The tanning is real.

I am a Parkwoods alum. Bought a lot of my equipment at Collegiate Sports.

Hell yes to Copper Kettle.

Have eaten at High Street a few times (my parents still live in the neighbourhood) - not bad.

I miss the Squires of Don Mills.

And a shout-out to Steak Queen.

I think fans are too one dimensional in their thinking. The favourite is always strongly directed toward offence.
My favourite, all-time, is the gut willing to do anything to keep the puck out of his teams net. Including eat the puck if he has too! Demitri Yuskevich, the warrior.

Honourable mentions; The greatest Leafs goalie of my time, Potvin. Sundin, the unsung hero for many years. Gilmore "Never say die" Killer. And finally, pound-for-pound the toughest guy to ever play the game (or maybe that should be inch-for-inch?), Domi.

Marner was on a trajectory to making my list but I'm really souring on the young players these days that are money first, hockey second. I understand wanting to get paid but to consistently to to the extra mile, even to the wire, to squeeze every dollar you can get at the expense of the quality of your team... It need to stop.

- TroyTech

Oops flagged you by mistake or ipa. Potvin was great

Real McCoy used to be good, haven't been in awhile.

Really sad to hear that Big Moe's burgers closed down. They were rocking.

My spot these days is Mama's Boys burgers.

I'm trying to remember exactly where Smiley's was, but I'm 99% certain that that space was originally Palmy's.

There was also a pretty good restaurant at the south end of that plaza - damn, can't remember the name.

Can't go wrong with that. I don't have a backyard but I made some pretty tasty ones in the cast iron the other day.

Solid additions. Food was great at Squires. High Street is excellent and an easy walk.

First Adidas from Collegiate sports.

10 years coaching at Parkwoods. 3 years Gthl. 5 years Leaside girls league too.

Damn, just drop the puck on the season

Former boss up until February this year, passed away from a heart attack last night.

He was in good shape, low key kind of guy, only 2 years older than me.
