Didn’t go to Milneford aka Milne Valley but son did. Moved to Toronto before grade 11. Moved back to Underhill and Cassandra area in 88. Coach, referee, and President at Parkwoods hockey. Great place for kids to start playing hockey. Hockey school by Gord McDonald. Team size limited to ensure more ice time.

Prefer Johnny’s Burgers and miss Copper Kettle and Zing burgers. I also miss my metabolism of my youth.

I won the student council award (best all-round boy student) in grade nine. Got my name on a plaque in the front hall.

Best all-round girl student for that year eventually became Mrs. Wedgie.

I'm always tempted to go back into the school to see if the plaque is still up (I'm assuming they took them all down when they changed it to Milne Valley). It would be pretty sweet to see our names up there together.

Ask the Air Canada stewardesses on the Leafs flights, who complained about his disgusting behavior.

Ask his son, who he refused to speak to for over 10 years.

Ask Leafs management, who he held a grudge against because when Keon's wife divorced him, Dave Keon Jr. sided with his mom, and Keon was pissed that the Leafs didn't fire Keon Jr. as a goal judge - he felt they were choosing sides.

Ask Leafs management who had to endure his narcissistic boycott for years.

Ask just about anyone who has ever known him.

I knew about the feud with the leafs but I didn’t know the rest.

Was that the one south of Eglinton? The one that was sorta in the parking lot, in that weird-shaped building? By the original Just Hockey and Ream's Cycle?

And let's add K.C. McFly's to the list.

I am a Parkwoods alum. Bought a lot of my equipment at Collegiate Sports.

Hell yes to Copper Kettle.

Have eaten at High Street a few times (my parents still live in the neighbourhood) - not bad.

I miss the Squires of Don Mills.

And a shout-out to Steak Queen.

Hell ya....late night after a Younge Street cruise with whatever new ladies happened to be along for the ride!

On east side of VP, in a plaza just south of Lawrence.

Back when wings were cheap, K.C. McFly's was a good place.

Edit: I just googled it - apparently it closed in 2012, but their Facebook page is still somehow alive.

Former boss up until February this year, passed away from a heart attack last night.

He was in good shape, low key kind of guy, only 2 years older than me.

100% Wendel Clark, he played the game the way I loved to watch it played and I’ve not liked someone as much as him since.

Matts was a player that I had a great appreciation for, he was a great player, captain and loved being a Leaf, to bad he never really got a good winger to play with very enough.

Mitch is a lot of fun to watch, never gives up and can do some crazy things with the puck. Johnsson has some talent and drive but also some snarl, which I like and the leafs need.

I would like to stop and think about the fact than John Tavares is a maple leaf, scored 47 goals last year, and is our 3rd best player. imagine someone told you that 5 years ago?

Hope you enjoyed your time at Parkwoods since hockey is the greatest game.

Anyone play shinny at Broadlands? Loved the sound of fresh ice in the morning!

Damn I am older than most of you.
