Favourite Leaf? Moi.
All kidding aside, I liked the heart that Wendel, Dougie, Roberts, Tucker (minus the chirping to the refs), Yushky and Danny Markov played with. |

Anyone remember Leafs 11 Oilers 9 1986?
Miroslav Frycer scored four goals and Russ Courtnall and Steve Thomas each had two tonight as the Toronto Maple Leafs outscored the Edmonton Oilers, 11-9.
Brad Smith, Wendel Clark and Dan Hodgson also scored for the Leafs.
The 20 goals represented a
Maple Leaf Gardens record for most goals by two teams. The previous high was 18 in a 10-8 Toronto victory over Chicago on Oct. 16, 1983.
Wayne Gretzky scored his 29th, 30th and 31st goals - his third three-goal game this season and 37th of his career -and assisted on three other Oiler goals.
Glenn Anderson added two goals and Raimo Summanen, Kevin McClelland, Paul Coffey and Jari Kurri each score one goal. Kurri also had five assists. The Oilers started Andy
Moog in goal but he allowed 5 goals on 11 shots and was replaced by Grant Fuhr with 3 minutes left in the first period.
Tim Bernhardt played the entire game in the Toronto goal. |

Lol yeah I was a kid watching that game on television and I was expecting the Oilers to mangle the Leafs. I couldn't believe they won. And Gretzky was still the reason to watch. |
