just did my $300 buy in draft
12 team ppr, picked 12th

qbs winston, allen
rbs cook, bell, freeman, jacobs, sanders
wr's woods golladay, ridley, scantley, parker
te ebron
d eagles
k butker

got burned waiting on qb and te, but the rb depth I have with all those pass catchers should help

- homiedclown

Connor, Cook and Singletary all went one spot before i was gonna pick them...sanders went two spots before me

Yeah, your RB group definitely has you in prime trade position for a WR.

that's the advantage picking on the wheel

you know you have to reach for that player or he will not be there when it comes back to you

the downside is you wait 22 picks and can get burned on a qb run and a te run

that's why I locked them rb's early

if gordon plays by week 3 you are fine

murray will be used like ingram was in NO, so he can be your flex if needed

I hardly ever trade

unless they overpay

I took parker with last pick in the draft instead of back up TE

he is now the number one wr on the worst team in football with fitz slinging the ball

all I need is the balls to put him in my lineup over golladay or ridley

Hopefully Josh Allen can be the guy everyone thinks he can be. Thats the only thing that might damage both of your team’s chances in the playoffs as I don’t love Newton or Winston.

That and I do like the Bills and it would be nice for them to succeed. Apart from Week 12 against the Broncos

allen was a top 3 fantasy qb once he got back from his injury to the end of the season

my fear is he will run less and be an average fantasy qb

Yes you did. Ouch. But I also need to remember that you picked 12th. That itself is tough. Not a terrible draft overall

Like you just said, he provided his value with his legs. I think he has all the potential in the world if he figures out the accuracy problems.

just finished a 12-team PPR Draft picking at #9 in a snake draft:

QB--Deshaun Watson
WR--OBJ
WR--Julio
RB--Damien Williams (KC)
RB--Melvin Gordon
WR/RB--Robbie Anderson (NYJ)
TE--Austin Hooper
K--Greg Zurlein
DEF--JAX

Reserves:

WR--Desean Jackson
WR--Marquis Brown (BAL)
RB--Lataivius Murrray (NO)
RB--Darrell Henderson JR. (LAR)
RB--Kareem Hunt
TE--Mark Andrews (BAL)

- Michael Pachla

Watson is always hot or cold I feel like. But overall not bad.

Your WR’s are stacked. The only problem with Fantasy football is that the production from receivers can be very variable, even from the all-time greats. I’d definitely look to the waiver wire or through trades to add some depth to the RB position.

Edit: If Melvin Gordon shows up or gets traded your laughing though.

I 100% agree. With the 9th overall pick I had no choice. I didn’t want to reach for an RB at 9 or 11. All the good ones were gone.

But yeah my 5th round gamble on Gordon in my mind was fine. If he plays or doesn’t

Gordon doesn’t have to play the whole year. I am okay with him missing a few weeks

He won't. The only hope is that his big play potential balances that out

I have the 12th and 13th pick tonight

my realistic expectation is my wr will be hill, juju or julio
and cook or mixon will be my rb

hate picking 12th, then I have to reach and draft a player 1 round early if I want him

- homiedclown

You think Juju lasts until 12?

Parker might not even be top 2 in receiving for them. Albert Wilson, Preston Williams and Jakeem Grant will all get looks.

if he does nothing I cut him in week 6 when I need a te for bye week

he is clearly the best wr on the team though, talent wise

Yup I know. All the good RBs at 9 were gone. I didn’t want to to reach that early.
