4th line...
Leivo Beagle Sutter
Problem solved πŸ‘

Yeah, Sutter on Beagle's wing as a shutdown line is something I'm cool with. Especially since Green likes to use Bo against scoring lines anyway. No point in having Sutter/Begale on 2 different lines if Bo is going to go up against other top 2 lines anyway.

If Goldy could shoot like Reid Boucher, he would be a 70 point player.

To get away with skill and lack of defence or hard to play against you need to have top end skill. Skill you see in players like Petey, P. Kane. Johnny gaudreau. Would you put Goldy in that category? I wouldn't. Someone like Horvat has less skill but more drive and other qualities is much better at the same age.
- manvanfan

If or when Gaudette gets his 2-way game fully amped up as a C it helps a line immensely. Wingers can be more creative.

I agree. But what DCT said is true as well, Goldobin is arguable the 2nd most skilled forward on this roster with the puck, unfortunately it hasn't translated to enough offense and he brings nothing else to the table outside of offense.

So is he really the 2nd most skilled? He might be the 2nd most fancy useless.

If we're talking fantasies...what if EP or Brock had Virtanen's size/speed combo?

Just thinking one very good shutdown line is enough & allows more scoring depth especially the way our roster is built.

Benning himself said on the radio last week that Goldobin is probably their 2nd most skilled forward with the puck. So if a scouting guru like Benning says that about a player on his own team, I'd say that it has some credibility.

Van would have a Sedin plus Burrows type line?

100% Sutter is a guy who needs a set up man. JV is not that. Roussel Gaudette Virtanen is my 3rd line once healthy. Bang crash shot pick up garbage.

He has to not disappear & cut down on O-zone turnovers. Costly transition for Ops when he coughs up the puck. Otherwise learn to bust his ass on back check like JV.

You've learned to listen to what JB says. Even I know he pumps the poop out of his players. Bunch of Milenials he's got on his hands.

(frank) okay, I'm sorry. iPad is too hard to type while I'm wasted. Im going to bed. Screens hard to see. Blurry and poop stuff.

One of my all time favs, just a pure beast

I still remember watching him and Scott Hannan go to war during a COL-SJ playoff series. Hannan would've been given 100 penalty minutes in today's game with the way he was mugging him
