Any player has to be signed by the team first, and the Flyers already have six goalies under contract for 19-20.
The next goalie prospect they need to sign is Ersson.

That’s false as they don’t have to be signed |

Midnight tonight?! Thanks for heads up - arichardson22
I paid 5.99 for one month of EA Access and received 10.00 off the game and get to play early. Win win.
I'm looking forward to signing Konecny and Provorov. Also filling that 3rd line wing roster spot. Any suggestions who I should assign to that position? ie Frost, Williams, Farabee, Zolnierczyk |

I get that Comcast was embarrassed at empty seats, but it doesn't matter revenue wise as much as you think, especially with TV money
20,000 X 100 ticket average (I'm just guestimating here to it's probably less) X 41 home games= 82 million
The flyers probably averaged about 16-17k a game only about a 13 million difference.
Them spending the extra money to get more gate revenue, really isn't going to line their pockets. - 2sticks1puck
Youre underestimating it and again overlooking things. Money spent on tickets is not the only revenue. |

I feel lucky to have been able to watch Federer/Nadal/Djokovic all in their primes. I always liked Federer the most, but those 3 were flat-out amazing to watch (sorry Murray). - jmatchett383
That is exactly how I feel about Borg, Becker, Sampras and the always underrated Wilander. |

I get the concessions and jersey sales etc. All that's revenue. Just remember though that with revenue sharing, every team isn't getting 100% of what they sell. I'm just glad that there is a cap floor in hockey (it should be higher), because in other sports teams realizing they can make more money by having a lower payroll through revenue sharing is a huge issue.
It's why Ottawa should be sanctioned hard by the league. Something like 25-30% of their cap hit right now is LTIR backed by insurance. They aren't swimming in money, but Melnyck has realized he can profit more by putting a crap product on the ice. Be thankful we have owners that value being competitive and want to put a product to pack the house. |

I preordered the ultimate edition since I play a ton of HUT and also have EA access, so i am pumped to play tonight now! especially since I'm working from home Thurs and Friday lol. I'd go Frost or Farabee, but hey lets see how they do in preseason! |

I will give you all a couple of weeks head start and buy my Tangible disk on the 13th before I unleash absolute carnage upon everyone in the EA Sports NHL world. - SuperSchennBros
Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy the game for two weeks. I'll hold down the fort until you grace NHL 20 with your presence.
Just recently started downloading the game. I purchase a used tangible disk for cheap just to stick on my bookshelf with all the other EA NHL titles. Very frivolous, I know. |

Carter Hart for Calder?
Braun for Norris?
My preference would be Ghost winning the Conn Smythe. |

Arguably the three greatest players of all time. With Feds and Nadal being #1 and #2, or #2 and #1 depending on your opinion.

The 80 Wimbledon final still ranks as one of the greats and I also should have included Martina in my list. |

Those guys were before my time. But when I watch those guys (not Sampras as much), or McEnroe, or Connors, etc. the game was so different. It was basically stand still and volley, and yes I'm oversimplifying. The game now is much more athletic, fast-paced, and the players have a lot more power on their shots. I agree that you can only judge a player by their peers, but Nadal would slaughter any one of those guys.
Also, seeing Serena is great because, love her or hate her, she's the best women's player ever. |

Not really a tennis fan, but I'd still say Graf is the best ever for women. Serena certainly is in the discussion, but Graf came up and dominated legit legends of the sport and was basically the model for what players like Serena is today. I feel like also Serena's main challenger was her sister and it made things slightly easier for her. She's probably easy 2nd best player ever, don't think she's done enough for 1 yet. |
