the thing is, If Mitch wont accept anything less, you cant make him.

question is, are you fine letting him sit then?
the term sucks, but thats 3 years of him in the lineup leaving a little space for something else

anyways, I dont want to waste a shot at a cup for 1.5mil or whatever.

I like the Nylander deal more and more each day

sept 15 will be interesting.

my gut is the nhlpa will opt out of the cba.

marner et. al will be (frank)ed. will make it tough to give up salary this year with the risk of losing a whole year's salary next year.

I don't think kellers extension helps his side either. I get that he had half of marners points last year, but over 8 years that number has to be tough on the Marner camp.

65 the year before.

7.1 x 8 for keller seems okay relative to willy at 6.9 for 6.

Good.

Although I'd still recommend you cancel "Loud, Sudden Noises Week."

I know it's fun and a great team builder, but...

When you put it like that....

But think about the "over 27" group with a cap hit over 7M and it doesn't look as bad.

Yeah, but then you trade them away and then trade to get them back so you get more LTIR, and it all works out happily.

UFAs are always the worst contracts in the league

RFAs having horrible contracts is new. I don't think this Arizona strategy is gonna pay off, signing average players to huge contracts and hoping they reach their potential? Maybe if they were better players like domi or strome?

Context ....when did they sign ...% of cap ....how many years did they sign for ...and the fact that his contract kicks in next year.

His cap% works out to about 8.5% ...similar to Monohan, Saad, Nylander, Nugent-Hopkins .......etc.

Bingo! ...you have good takes sometimes but this take I refer to as "Brian Burke'ing". Pick an emotional (yet completely out of context) angle and run with it.

Draisaitl is 2.5years older than Keller - Keller recently (July) turned 21.
So let's wait with that statement for a bit.
