Olofsson-Eichel-Johansson
Skinner-Mitts-Reinhart
Vesey-Erod-Sheary
Girgensons-Larsson-Okposo
Olofsson scores 30, Skinner goes back to being a 25 goal 50 point player - Swedish_Jesus
I'd still guess that Skinner and Jack are together to start. I'd think it's, with no disrespect to Pach:
Skinner - Eichel - Vesey
Olofsson - Middlestadt - Reinhart
Johannson - Rodrigues - Sheary
Barf - Fart - Burp |

Keller got paid 7 mill for 8 years
Samson should be seeing dollar signs. No joke he could make 8-9 mill a season. |

Get anther center and E-Rod moves down to the 4th and the top 3 lines are pretty decent |

I think he's going off the depth chart, more than predicting lines. It makes more sense than taking a guess at which LW might switch sides and land in the top 6.

Isn't Boyle still out there? I didn't like the idea in June, but it's September now and I'm more desperate. :p |

I mean he got 9/20 last season...
I'd hope for 15/25 tbh. If he stays with the same overall points and has a few more goals that's a big difference to you? Curious. - RhinoFan
I don't predict any increase in points because I think he's going to lose ice time and PP time. Unless something crazy happens, he won't be the #4 F in ice time again.

PP time yes, even strength time, we dont know.
He only had 4 points on the PP, so that's not going to make a huge difference either way. Do the 2nd and 3rd lines absorb some time from the "4th line" of last year? Is mitts going to play 18 minutes a night now? Or are the 2nd and 3rd lines going to play 15 minutes each? Is the 4th line still playing 14 minutes a night?
We have no idea right now |

Of course we don't know. Predicting less than #4 F isn't really going out on a limb though. Looking the team right now, the 4th line is still going to get heavy D minutes and it's almost a lock that Mitts gets more ice time. I certainly hope they have a recognizable second line, instead of wondering if Larsson is the 2C many nights.

He played 15:49 a night last year. BUT, guys who played more minutes than you would expect:
Larsson 14:18
Girgensons 13:37
Sobotka 14:11
Kyle Okposo 13:47
These are your bottom 4 forwards, essentially logging 1 out of every 4 shifts like the lines were equally balanced. Players like Mittelstadt, Sheary, and Pomminville actually averaged LESS time on ice than that bottom 4.
Bottom line, that bottom 4 should be playing about two minutes less a night easily, which means there is plenty of Ice time for Vesey, Mojo, and Mittelstadt to play without having to take it from Rodrigues.

I was a fan of Boyle back with the Rangers and Lightning, but he's about done. Nothing more than a 4th liner. Would not be an upgrade over our 3rd/ 4th liners anymore. |

No, but at 15:49, that's not saying much. Without PP time, that's probably just shy of 15 minutes, which is typical for a 3rd liner who plays PK |

Maybe. I still see Larsson taking the key dzone starts and squeezing his time.

If Larry, Gus and Okposo are taking ice time from anyone, then either Botts didn't do enough, or Krueger went to the Housley school of coaching. No way those guys are playing 14 minutes a night again |

With the additions of Mojo and Vesey, you may see his Dzone starts go down some. Vesey may take some of his PK time as well. However, it may also allow ERod to get more than the 40% Ozone starts he had last season, which could increase his production. |

If Okposo comes back healthy I could see him getting 20/30 and have no problem with him getting ice time. |
