Edler s far better defensively than Gardiner. As for Myers and Gardiner. They had very similar numbers on stacked teams. I still prefer Myers over Gardiner myself.

I would take Edlers 2 year deal every day over Gardiner. Edler can play D Gardiner struggles in his own end.
