What you have you seriously seen in Woll and Scott to determine one is decent and one isnt impressive?
It is way to early to determine that, especially with goalies. It's the most inconsistent position by a mile. - LeafGuy89
Woll has better numbers (.913 SV% - .919 SV%) that improve every year playing in the NCAA (even on a losing team) while Scott didn't really have good numbers until he was pretty much older than everybody else in his 4th WHL season. Scott looks like a less accomplished Pogge. Even the way he plays, he's got a big body but he moves around in his net too much. Looks like Sparks did, always overreacting, sometimes flopping.
I agree with you, goalies are inconsistent and unpredictable. They could both turn out to be decent goalies, back-ups or busts. But that just goes to show how much it helps to have multiple options and prospects in the system. And I'd rather have too many top notch goalie prospects than too few with Andersen's contract coming up.
Considering how long it takes goalies to develop, it's probably a good idea to bolster the ranks now rather than later. |

These offers for Marner are terrible in the Ek thread. Honestly, creating a fair trade in general is hard.
Now for this blog. Bracco is ranked higher than he should be. If what you are saying is true (that Bracco needs time to get used to a league before he succeeds) then Bracco won't be a leaf for very long. He won't get a chance to play on a scoring line and if he isn't producing in the bottom 6, he doesn't bring much else to the table. He'll end up being traded or an AHLer for life. |

We can. In fact, it might be a great way to get Marner to take a 1 million haircut: so we can get Marleau back. - TheMussel

Perfect guy for Matthews in a year imo.
Thing i like about him and Brooks are they take their time adjusting to different levels of hockey, but when they adjust they raise their game.
If he pans out it'll allow the Leafs to move a RW for a dman.
1 more year and we'll be there. - walshyleafsfan
100%. I can't say for Brooks' case 'cause I haven't paid a whole lot of attention to him from before the Marlies, but that's exactly how it is with Bracco.
Once he learns defense better, he will be a good pro. |

Can you blame him? His own father is a controlling piece of poop. That's why he's gotten along with older players so well. He's unconsciously looking for a good father figure. |

A Bracco lynchmob before the guy even plays in the nhl. On the plus side, it's easy to spot who the twats are. |

My only problem with Bracco is that he is one-dimensional. Had the Marlies done what they did with Kapanen, Johnsson and Moore, I would say he has a chance of being a pro and moving up in the line. What makes him deserve a shot at a top 6 role over Kapanen? He's stuck behind Marner, Nylander and Kapanen. He'd need 2 of those guys to be moved out to get a chance at a top 6 role. Even if the 3rd line is going to be used as a scoring line, his linemates won't be as talented. He needs to develop his defensive game this year to have a chance. |

The real twats are the ones that think Bracco is better than Nylander. |

They wrote off Kapanen before he played an NHL game too. Take it with a grain of salt |
