He can't be that dumb if he managed to hack into the McDonald's drive-thru cash register computer to get on hockeybuzz |

My only problem with Bracco is that he is one-dimensional. Had the Marlies done what they did with Kapanen, Johnsson and Moore, I would say he has a chance of being a pro and moving up in the line. What makes him deserve a shot at a top 6 role over Kapanen? He's stuck behind Marner, Nylander and Kapanen. He'd need 2 of those guys to be moved out to get a chance at a top 6 role. Even if the 3rd line is going to be used as a scoring line, his linemates won't be as talented. He needs to develop his defensive game this year to have a chance. - matt1337
There is really no such thing as a top-6, not on good teams anyways. Three scoring lines has been the norm for years now. If Bracco can generate offense they'll eventually find a spot for him.
What's the rush anyways, he should play the entire year in the AHL, rip it up. |

Nylander and Bracco for Laine. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Laine would be an instant fan favorite on the Leafs

If anything the Leafs can absolutely run a more offense orientated third line.
If you're Babcock with two elite centers, you want one of the two going head to head vs the top opponent (like the Bergeron line). You don't want a low offense defensive minded line playing all those minutes. |

He already put up 79 points in 75 games in the AHL. I think we're past that and into the 'Let's see how he does at camp' discussion. |

Why he's 22? There's rookies on this team that came up older. If he doesn't beat a guy for a spot then he doesn't. If this was 2014 sure. Mikheyev would have to bust pretty hard I think for Bracco to make it. |

If he can make it through the first round of cuts, it's pretty much guaranteed, especially if Marner holds out. |

regardless, I tend to agree with you in the sense that He'll have a cup of coffee in the NHL (if he doesn't screw the pooch at camp) but won't play more than a handful of games unless the Leafs run into long-term injury problems
even if they choose to shop him, teams'll wanna see what he has against quality competition |

better to shop Johnsson with his 3+million AAV contract.
(leafs have Moore, Mikheyev, Marner, Kapanen, Nylander, Hyman for wingers - then Bracco still has to compete with them for a top 9 spot..) |

that's he's exceeded my expectations and Dubas was right. (unless Matthews gets120+ points and Johnsson slipstreams to those 65+ points of course ) |

If they can all stay healthy on get some chemistry going I'm really excited to see what a Johnsson-Matthews-Nylander line can do. Matthews is going beast mode to start the season. |
