Hoping for Hutch. But it will probably be Noworth if he’s healthy.

Another year of Joe Thornton in SJ...

Yet, they can't find a 'fit' for Marleau?

I think you're right. Camp will mete it out, I guess.

Neuvirth has posted positive expected Save percentages at 5v5, and Hutchinson never has. He also has a positive GSAA at 5v5, whereas Hutchinson never has either. If he's healthy and can play to the form of of 2017-18, it'll very likely be Neuvirth.

Curiously, though, Hutchinson has posted better numbers as a goalie when his team is on the PP or PK. I'm guessing that speaks to his ability to stay focused or rise to the level of pressure?

I wasn't unimpressed with Hutch last year when he played for us, but I never felt spoiled when he was in. I just felt like he was a better option than Sparks.

I think Kevin Labanc is actively being butthurt by Doug Wilson. Every moment of every day. So I guess it's a daisy chain.

Good points. I thought Hutch was solid and looked like he belonged in the net, save for the (frank)ing Red Pads.
Noworth seems kinda Flaky, but I’m willing to give him a shot.

Both are miles ahead of Garrett Sharts though. That was a brutal watching him last year. One of the worst goaltenders to ever play for the Leafs. You would think that his terrible attitude and lack of talent would have been red flags before being handed the backup role.

Regardless, the Leafs backup will be better this year.

Should have kept Marleau, he's an all-time great. The Hurricanes are really gonna miss him.

It'll be interested to a see his usage. Sharks aren't as deep and he's really getting up there.

I'm guessing he'll likely get top 6 minutes, when he shouldn't be.

I was really hoping for a Spezza-Thornton-Goat line. The Glacier line.

New neutral zone trap.

All three guys spread their arms out and create an impenetrable wall at the red line.
