Wouldn't that be the biggest walk of shame though? - Scabeh
Not just for him but for the Leafs too.
At this point, let the younger players play. He had his shot. |

They don't really have to trade anybody.
Carolina looks like they do everything by committee.
If they send down a couple players to the AHL, they're under the cap and have solid depth everywhere. |

I'd be shocked if they went into season w all that money on the D end - Lucas.Neilson
Why?
They can't spend it anywhere else anyway.
If there's one place to spend money, especially with their off brand goaltending, it's on the blueline.
Six solid D who play 20 minutes each. |

So who is Carolina trading to Winnipeg for Laine? - Aetherial
Winnipeg would have to hit a home run, so anything proposed by a jets fan would probably be laughed at, but no reason to trade laine, unless you were blown away |

There seems to be issues there and I am not so sure Winnipeg values him over Connor. I could see him being dealt |

Issues? All speculation and rumours same as can be said right now for all unsigned RFA’s |

Not really, especially given the style they play. They have plenty of depth. They might need another high end forward but they couldn't afford that right now anyway. |

Williams will probably come back half way through the season and Ferland only scored 17 goals.
Carolina's forward group is very much a "next guy up" group. |

Did Jake Gardiner just become a solid D? |
