There HAS to be a verbal deal in place with some team. There has to be.
There’s no way Anaheim would’ve went after Faulk over Risto.
They are like the same player but one is younger and cost controlled |

Faulk is slightly better
But Risto is 4 years younger and Faulk needs a new deal.
I can’t imagine Faulk has more trade value - OneKaneOneCup
But if Ristolainen sucks as much as everyone claims, why would he be worth more than Faulk? |

What does it say about Ristolainen if the Ducks would only trade Kase for Ristolainen if Buffalo also took Kesler's contract, and for Faulk, they like him enough to do a 1 for 1 trade? - kingcong39
Something about him sucking, maybe? |

Exactly.
Foligno is still useful (worth a 2nd rounder), and a Wennberg buyout is eons better than Okposo. If the cost of getting rid of Okposo is Risto, I'd do that deal all day
Saving almost $10m in 2 years - jcragcrumple

You're speaking in hyperbole a lot, but I haven't heard your actual, specific objections laid out.
I think freeing up $6m in cap space from Okposo should be a major milestone toward getting a cup in the next 4 years - all of which he's still under contract for. If Risto is a piece that gets that done, well, it just clears more cap as well with his departure. And we have Joker, Miller and Montour on the right side - with Borgen coming.
Foligno can still play, for the record. And a Wennberg buyout is very favorable. I'm still not sure what part you object to |

Just in time for us to be scheming up ways on how to get out of the last 4 years of Skinner’s deal |

It is. This helps in many ways to that goal....
Frees up log jam on RD.
Frees up $ long term to be able to give to a player worth okposos salary
Lets a young RD play 3rd pairing and learn the game in a position to succeed
Just makes it worth it not to watch Risto dump it high off the glass 9/10 times a games. Thats in it self is worth it! |

Good Lord, that Bills game was putrid.
It was so franking bad, I turned it off at halftime.
0-16, here we come! - Atomic Wedgie
2 overrated young QB’s playing a game of who can dink and dunk better. Allen, to his credit, can at least run and has some confidence trying to throw deep.
Darnold is terrified throwing the ball more than 10 yards, all he had was Crowder and Bell at the line of scrimmage He’s going down as the next Bortles/Gabbert/Ponder/Manuel/GSmith
Robby Anderson is going to be running deep just for cardio all year long. |

This trade is worse then the ROR deal so what’s the point to just get rid of Kyle ? And trade a RHD that is rare in the NHL for cap space ... sounds like a winning Organization

Imagine if the preds had unloaded Turris in the PK subban deal.
That's the premise |

Dont feel like looking it up but would love to know what the winner Risto’s +/- is for his career. Guessing -200 or more...🤯
Most on here loved getting rid of O’Reilly and were saying we did the right thing when Blues had the worst record in league. Then they started winning and people all of a sudden said it was a mistake. ( Sounds exactly like the love/hate we have to Rhino )
Dont want any player part of the Sabres if they dont want to be. Good or bad player..... |

Not sure if it still holds, but a couple years ago it was estimated she was making over $100,000 a month. And that was just off her Instagram account. She was also making $30,000 to $40,000 per appearance at events.
How many on here are making around $1.5 million a year?
I have no idea if this information is accurate. I just remember hearing about it once upon a time. |

The fact they got rid of Subbans contract without withholding any cash was a miracle. |
