Lol at Zacha going to the KHL. Devil's royally flubbed that pick.

Can't believe people are more worried about goaltending this year than going into a season relying on Neuvirth. I honestly have no words...

I believe at the end of the day that Carter Hart will be an above-average NHL starting goalie.

But I don't believe he's money in the bank for next season.

meh they ended up with Hischier and Hughes though. i'm sure they aren't rioting at the thought of Zacha possibly leaving

All he has to do is stay relatively healthy and he's instantly better than Neuvy no matter how well he plays.

Fair enough but you can never be thrilled about a young top pick walking away and you getting nothing in return. They could've easily had Provorov right now.

Bingo is saying in the main thread that Faulk for Kase is all but done. If true, really nice trade for CAR.

He may be that rare player but we have to expect the ups and downs for a player that normally at his position and age, isn't even in the NHL yet.

He'll probably be nothing more than a 4th line center/PK specialist. Yeah, sucks if they lose him for nothing, if he does leave. For the 6th pick, NJ scouts get an F.

But Philly has a high end pick of their own with very similar stats. Hope NoPa doesn't trip and hurt himself over the extremely low bar set up for him this year, as the situation he's coming into this season removes all excuses.

Just a rumor, but apparently Elliott Friedman was saying on TSN radio that there’s rumblings of Provy and Konecny being close and it will be done before camp

Kind of common Sense that the Provy deal will get done now that Werenski signed and I really have a hard time believing TK sits out.

That's because Philly did not file for bankruptcy or threaten to move the team....if you get my reference

Would you rather a young none producing Zacha to leave cap free or would you rather be stuck with a 7 million a year Hayes who will like reach the level of his deal?

I know I’m asking to be attacked but it’s one of those, “Not so fast” situations.

Neither really have a thing to do with one another. The only would you rather with Zacha is would you rather have taken Provorov, who most scouts had ranked above him at the draft.

What? hayes is a much better player than him, by a landlside. We all know he was slightly overpaid but comparing them is insane. Hayes will probably have 55+ play in all situations and is one of the better even strength scoring players in the league. Zacha is....

right about what?! the fact MJL thinks he knows somehow that Gandler was just happy as a pig in poop when he thought his client could get as much as 8 mil a year (or at least that's what the rumors were from several writers and pundits in the know) now has a baseline for only getting 5 mil a year due to a comparable player signing for that much?

my friend works for CAA in NY and she has told me there are no professions out there more greedy than being an agent. you can agree all you want that Gandler was just as happy prior to Werenski's contract being signed as he is now, but I wholeheartedly disagree.
