I was there sunday afternoon, it was pretty calm by then - jimbro83
Yeah it was a quick hit. Bigger sets were well overhead though, there were definitely a few guys out there that didn't belong...I watched a whole bunch of them eat poop repeatedly |

You should've gone in Saturday morning. I got up early and went down to the 4x4 beach by Gilgo to watch everyone surf the Dorian swell - eichiefs9
I can't wait to take my son out on the driving beaches like I did growing up. I don't know how it is up there in NY, but now all the driving beaches are way too packed, not sure how you handle it. Back in the day, if there was a truck 1/4 mile from you, it was a bad crowded day. |

Has anyone had the Chernobyl vodka yet? My morbid curiosity wants to try it. |

if the Rangers failed to get Panarin, what's the chances they would have been all over one of these unsigned RFA's |

I think the only thing stopping them even now is that they couldn't trade Strome and Names |

If they guy parked next to you is 20-30ft away you’re lucky and it’s still early |

I haven't been out on a beach for several years because of this. Just amazing how times have changed.
FOr everyone's entertainment search on youtube for cars that get stuck in the sand. It's almost as funny as the boat ramp fail videos. |

I really wonder if we will be players if one of the RFAs hold out for the year. You have to figure the Nylander thing was a canary in the coal mine. With the sheer number of guys still unsigned, it's not unreasonable to think one doesn't get done in time. |

the Jets situation looks impossible right now
both Connor and Laine are miles better than Clayton Keller at this point and he got 7.1 mil a year |

The market is just nuts, Keller gets that and Werenski only gets 5. I really don't even know anymore.
I'm stoked about the future, but all this has me terrified of 3 years from now when we have to resign the holy trio. |

BREAKING: Boo Nieves wearing No. 15 on helmet at NYR informal skate. Apparently someone else will be wearing 24 at camp. (Told that Nieves approached trainers this morning and asked for change). |

I think that was probably the long-term contract rate. ARI is betting that in a few years, if he improves, that deal will look pretty good. If Connor/Laine are going to get one of these popular new short-term RFA deals then I can't imagine they're going to get full market value AND get to UFA status quicker. They have to concede something somewhere along the line. |

Unsigned DeAngelo and Lemieux both skating with group at NYR training center. Talks continue but no progress at this point. Lemieux has been here for about a month, working at Prentiss. DeAngelo joined group yesterday.
