tavares turned marner from a 60-point player to a 95-point player.
brazal went from 85 points with and 62 points without tavares.
moulson, bailey & okposo - career ~45 point players that tavares elevated to ~70 point players.
but willy will probably have 25 less points playing with JT. - Tumbleweed
You said nothing about Willy playing with JT, but even then, assuming 100 points means you honestly believe he is better than Marner. Okey Dokey.... |

We're going in circles here - it seems obvious we're not going to agree on this.
I sincerely hope you'll be right about Nylander and he's a better player than I believe he is.
I do hope Marner will start the season though - I don't understand why Leafs fans are so negative on him for not signing a new contract yet ; seems both sides are to blame here, and training camp hasn't started yet - last year much less criticism on Nylander in Nov compared Marner early September... (plus as I said several times , I believe the NHLPA CBA decision has an impact - I expect Marner to sign his new deal 16Sept). - MaximusAurelius
Also interesting that guys are all hating Marner when he hasn't even officially been a holdout, meanwhile WN actually was, and played like poop, but he's the next 100 point scorer. FFS. |

There is a real deadline - start of the season. It doesn’t work to make one up. - Canada Cup
Kinda what I meant Cup. (shouldn't have typed "make one up" but pick a hard date...whatever, you get it)
Training Camp Day 1. Sign or (frank) off for the year. Cry on daddy's shoulder.
Edit: wait, I didn't even use "make up a date" in my post. (frank)er! |

I think you are pretty over sensitive about me.
There’s a few of you that don’t like how I debate, and that’s fine. It seems like others enjoy my presence in these discussions.
But you seem to whine about it more than you should. It’s pretty simple just don’t read if you don’t like something, which it seems like you started to do on here for a bit. - Santo_44
You could've started all of your posts with "Don't Read" then.
Do you have any idea how much time I've wasted reading your posts???

What a horrible retort. Read it back to yourself. Don’t read something we don’t like? How the (frank) are we supposed to know we don’t like it till we read it? Or how bout when someone makes a comment and you reply with an insult? Just don’t read it? Give your head a shake and it might loosen up enough to pull it out of your ass. - DrunkenCanuck

Marner will be in the opening night lineup. You can lock that in. |

I just am very surprised of the leverage he thinks he has.
He turned down a 11x7 contract he turned down a contract offer where he is being overpaid.
Like (frank), it’s just crazy to me this guy is doing this while JT was underpaid for years and took the same deal as a (frank)ing UFA where all 30 teams wanted a free shot at him.
Idk man, one side leaked this thing about turning down an offer in June and I highly doubt it was Marners camp. The leafs are frustrated...and rightfully so. - Santo_44

Fiala just scored 32 points.
There was no way he could justify anything more.... Even if he was with the leafs. |
