My hunch is that the team wants to lock him into a Coots/Ghost/Simmonds kind of long term deal. TK probably wants a shorter bridge, since he's likely to hit 30+ goals soon, and that will likely translate into boo koo bucks.

Yes if Provy goes first, it could become a little more clear and happen quickly for TK. Surely he knows Frost and company are waiting in the wings.

Is there anything that governs agents ? Or any sets of rules or procedures they must follow ? It would be interesting if they could be fined for not having their clients contracts in time for the start of each season.

Yeah the more I think about what that would require the less likely I see it being.

Do agents have to be approved by the leagues ? Maybe that is where it would have to start and make them part of the league. The idea would be to benefit teams and the league as less players would be left unsigned hopefully.

Its weird that Pronman always calls out Frost for his speed. The guy who has won fastest skater competitions both and without the puck.

Pronman ranked about 30 Flyers prospects about a month ago. Easily the most common criticism for almost all of them was lack of NHL speed and skating ability. I’m not sure if this is a result of the Flyers not prioritizing speed or just some bias on his part. In general though I never considered the Flyers a “fast”. Team.

I think ZW is the best comparable, by far. Plus, he's just about out of runway for a reset. If I were Fletch, I wouldn't go long term after the s show last year.

For some reason the game wouldn't stream last night. I wondered if it was because of my proximity to Lehigh Valley? I mean I get all the NBC Sports channels and never have issues with regular season games.

It was an internet streaming rights thing. I have Youtube.TV and it said "This Program cannot be played over the internet" I know sometimes there are airing rights for cable and for internet streams it could be different or not at all.

Look, I’m not saying I can’t be disrespectful or be on the defensive but some of you guys who get up and arms because I believe Hayes is massively overpaid, or because I would have kept Schenn for at least another season after drafting Patrick or not liking that I was a little disappointed with Frost last night. I think you have to take a look at yourselves and your reactions. My opinions are just my opinions. I believe in my opinions and I’m passionate about this team, so yeah, some times I will stand strong next to my beliefs. It’s not that serious. No need for attacks unless I attack you first.

Something needs to be done and it's probably going to take another lockout. The number of quality young player still unsigned at this point of the year is simply absurd.

It's crazy, and awful that we still have two guys still unsigned. Really frustrated TK hasn't signed, should be simple. Provy at this point too, once Werenski signed it should have taken off.
