I don't think he needs time. Say what you want about preseason is preseason but the kid completed all but 5 passes in the preseason.

Does that mean he's going to continue that and light it up in the regular, hell no. But he's ready. Through him out there and see what you have.

Eli is done with the Giants. Maybe he resurrects himself somewhere for a final magical run but, let's be real here.

Feed Saquon, let Jones have his bad games this year, and let him learn about trying to put up points while behind on the scoreboard this year. With that defense he'll get his chance at chasing the team in the lead.

Starting Josh Allen this week, picked up John Brown and Devin Singletary this week. Stashing them on the bench in case they blow up. Who knows?

I tend to agree about Eli. I think he'd do fine on a solid team, but the Giants are still re-building and he is not the type of QB that can carry them, especially in the twilight of his career. If Jones is the future let the kid play more than the final 2 mins.

But that first drive against Dallas last Sunday was great. For about 5 minutes I was optimistic that maybe they were somehow going to be good this year. Then reality set in on our next few possessions.

Sunday will be interesting. I just realized the Bills have 2 consecutive road games in the same building. That's not too common, if you have to start the season with 2 road games, this has to be the best scenario. Anyway, go G-men! Gotta love the home dog.
