IMHO Cozens needs at least one more year in the minors, probably a year in Rochester after that... But the future is looking a little brighter now. I like where Botts has taken the defense with the recent additions... still some work to do at forward though... and Goalie is still a question mark... If UPL is the real deal this will be a really fun team to watch in 2-3 years

I wish people would stop trying to force him into the lineup already as well. My understanding of him (based on scouting reports pre-draft) was that he's going to need a few years before he'd be able to make the jump to the NHL.

C. Tanev to Oilers (needs to happen first)

Risto/Girgensons/Davidsson/Late pick to Vancouver

Virtanen/2020 or 2021 1st/Sutter/Palmu to Buffalo

Why do you say that? We have 0 to go off of at this point with him. If he blows the doors off of camp, I can see saying something like that. But honestly, he'd have to go out and reallllllllllllllllllllly impress before I feel like they should even consider not just sending him back.

Because the Sabres lose nothing if he gets his 9 games.

After game 9 and you send him back. You don’t burn a year of his contract and have the full 3 year ELC.
