We should have traded him for Proorov. We should fire Dumbass and hire David Poile, if anyone can find him. My sources tell me that this time he has a really good hiding spot in the arena.

Every team is overpaying now. Unfortunately that's the way it is. Main thing is Mitch won't miss any training camp and he and Tavares can light it up. Hopefully this will shut Dreger up for a bit.

last year, discussions on here by most were that 'marner should get equal aav than nylander, or maybe a bit above' - a lot of people thought 7.5mln-8mln for nylander and marner a bit above.

The problem is the Leafs hit a perfect storm.

Just as the RFA's decided they should be cashing in more we had Matthews and Marner due the same year.

Matthews get overpaid because July 1st there was going to be an offer-sheet. I believe some team would have given him one.

Then all Marner has to do is make his case that he has been the leading scorer the last 2 years.
