Are you surprised a better player is higher up the lineup? Zajac also had 3:00 more TOI than him last year. - rmdevil313
No. I was more surprised when the pushed Zacha up to 2C over Zajac. But that said they’re probably interchangeable. |

I really think Hall is a guy you move. How many contracts to late 20's wingers work-out? you'll pay for so many "Passed-his-prime" years. trade him and get nice futures.

I’m wondering if Kakko is next. Ranger fans make fun of Hughes because of his size but Kakko has some health issues already.
I think Kakko will be more successful then Patrick Nolan our the gate, but I wonder how it’s goibg to play out for these guys. Including Hughes. - Queenie_5_hole
I don't know what he has, but to be honest, Kakko is probably going to be a really good player at Eichel or Barkov's level. |

I just think it's a bit of an overrated notion in 2019. This isn't the 90s where fighting and brawling was common. - devilspep
Im not saying either way. I just think that you would rather be prepared for something and not need it then need it and not have it.
I also strongly believe simmonds is going to play more then 5 minutes a game so he isnt here just to fight. Having players who can play hockey and handle themselves has never ever been in question. |

He has type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. Neither are overly concerning but just that he was held out of the Ranger's first prospect game for illness. Makes you wonder. |

Hall is a beast.
Wouldn’t have any issue paying 10.5-11 over 4-5 years.
But if he wants a 6-8 year term (which undoubtedly he will) he’s gotta come down abit to maybe 9. Paying a 35/36 year old 11 million dollars is nuts.
The truly elites like him Might not have to settle and good chance he’ll get what he wants.
but I think the league is def trending towards the young guys coming off their rfa as getting the monster deals. Even if the team still has control, there’s years of prime hockey left.
While the ufa years that everyone looked forward to are now the beginning of the end kinda.
This might not apply to the halls and Tavares yet, but it should. And eventually will |

If you butt(frank)ers haven't voted for 'Don't Stop Me Now' as your goal song, I'm afraid I'll have to send you strongly-worded letters detailing my disappointment for your inaction in such a crucial time. |

With the advent of 21-22 year old RFA's commanding & getting UFA dollars, in the not so near future, 28-29 year olds will be considered high risk & will have trouble scoring more than a 4-5 year deal & not at the dollars they were hoping for. Hall is lucky, he's coming up next year because the impact of the skyrocketing RFA deals will take a few years to impact the better older players. Devils have a couple young kids that are going to command some big big $$$ so enjoy the cheap ELC years. |

To his credit, if there's any player in the league that's self-aware and humble enough to take a 5 year deal and/or a substantial discount to help his team win, I'm confident it would be Hall. |

Let it burn by volbeat is a pretty sick song for our team... Im thinking it would make an amazing highlight pack video though not sure if it would be ideal for a goal song lol |

Type 1 diabetes isn't stopping Max Domi any, and the other just changes his diet, not a big deal. I certainly wouldn't have avoided him for this stuff. |

Taylor Hall on Hischier:
"Yea, Nico looked great. He's so fast and shifty. If he can use that weight to hold off guys a little bit better,.. it's crazy, he's so good in front of the net, he's not a huge guy so I can only imagine when he puts on some pounds and starts using that, what he's going to look like."
clearly, yet again, size and strength is not a player attribute that has an obvious effect on the ice. clearly, more size and strength means nothing. clearly. |

Like how hynes isn't going easy and making sure things are done right
I know lines will change but based on the scrimmage it does make it interesting to see how things look
Hall hischier palms
Boqvist zajac bratt
Gusev Hughes Simmonds
Wood zacha Coleman - dmarsden2988
I like this - I see the middle two lines swapping but I could get behind this line-up. I am sure it will evolve some but this looks pretty okay to me. Having a 4th line made up of guys we would normally look at as potential 3rd line staffers certainly is refreshing. |
