If it’s 7M then why not just add an extra 1M or 1.5M buy his UFA years? - Nucker101
Cuz then he couldn’t sign for 12.5 in 2.5 years 😉 |

Rhetorical question btw, I think we’ve all said our piece by now - Nucker101
I'm fine with 7aav. I really like brock and what he brings to our team |

I just saw that. I'm actually surprised. Rumor was 6 years x 7aav was declined by boeser camp originally |

If he gets 2 million more than Werenski and McAvoy. Plus a million more than Meier for one less year.
I'll dislike the contract. |

No confirmation from team or Boeser camp but believe AAV is just below 6-million. |

Agreed
Looks like it’s not 3x7 but 3x6
3x7 would’ve made no sense |

Gone are the days of bridge contracts that saved the team money though lol. Kids are getting way more or bypassing completely. |

Atleast LE contract will be off the books when they re-sign him to big money |

For sure but you get what I’m saying right? The difference between what a star RFA would accept on a bridge vs 6+ years should be more than 1M-1.5M per even in the new market.
No way in hell do guys like Werenski accept 6.5M for 6+ years, but he was okay with 5M for his RFA years. |

LE, beagle, Sutter, & Russel (I would only keep Russel in that group)
Edit: elder gone too, hopefully Olli or Tram can step in for cheap. |

Everything has given Richard Bachman trouble so far.
Probably why they added Macintyre. |
