It is still true though lol, look at Brock, just signed for 5.9M. That’s a significant discount from the 7.5M-8M+ he’d likely demand on a long term deal right now.

1-2 mil in his early 30’s for 1-2 year deal wouldn’t be bad, depending on how much his injury will affect him. His play is perfect for playoffs (Lapiere 😁)
