Burkie, never got it done in Toronto or Vancouver for that matter, but he did win a cup. For the most part I agree, he is out of touch. Dubas has done very well IMO.

To be fair the Leafs did tank a season to get Matthews. I will reserve judgement on the success of Dubas for when there are on ice successes.

If the 2nd PP is good I get it.

Last year the 2nd PP sucked.

Two years ago we had a top PP aim the league.

Either way, Babcock doesn’t run the PP...at all.

It's amazing how many people, like Spatso, put so much meaning into preseason games. Still, 530 game to open "the season" I'm down and leaving work early despite it being meaningless. Cant waitnto watch hockey again.

Do people think if Freddie the goat wasn't a 1st round pick, less people would make a big deal about him potentially centering the 4th line? Say he was drafted in the 3rd or later. Would people be happy we got some value out of a late pick rather than being upset we got no value out of a 1st?

Just looked over that draft class and there really wasn't a whole lot taken after him. Theodore and Burakovsky would've been nice but no one who made a huge impact so far for their teams.
