Why is Kakko still listed as wearing #45? I thought Boo gave it up for him. |

Everything I have read Rangers want him at 925K just like Branden and are unwilling to go higher, which is why Tony has a point he played a lot better than Branden did! Just sign the guy already and get him into camp! If you want to make a player happy and play well for you its a couple hundred thousand more big friggin deal!!!!! Sign him!!!! |

Going to have to agree to disagree here Jan. Here's why:
Last season, Tony D played 61 games and recorded 30 points --- roughly half a point per game ( .5/ppg ). We clearly lacked high end offensive skill as a team last year.
This season ---- we have undeniably much more skill --- we are going to score MANY more goals. Our power play is going to be MUCH improved. Is it crazy to think he can score at a ( .75 ppg) rate this year running the first string PP unit? If he plays just 70 games, thats over a 50 point season. That should certainly get him more than $3 mill/yr and I don't think my numbers are unrealistic... - TommyGTrain
It's not the points that aren't getting him more of an offer...it's his mental state. He got in a Twitter war w/ fans in Hartford last year, and has done some other retarded stuff over the years. He turned it around last year....great.....but NYR and every other team is afraid to go big $$/years b/c of his track record. That's why he wasn't offer sheeted. If he proves again this year he can keep it together mentally, THEN he could be in for a good contract. Again, the problem here isn't his skill or on ice production. |

I am starting to believe Boo switched to #15 and it had nothing to do with Kakko |

Thank god for that or I'd have to spend another 30 bucks for a new jersey. |

So who wins a game first: Dolphins, Jets, or Redskins? All 3 look kinda bad. |

I mean the dolphins are just bending over, the Jets are going into week 3 with their 3rd starting QB and the Skins, well they're the skins so we could be looking at the first time there are multiple winless teams

The Dolphins play the Skins and of course play the Jets twice. Let's see those 0-0 ties |

How much actual cap room do the Rangers have right now? Actual...without the talk of shoulda-woulda-coulda by sending Smith to Hartford. I keep hearing $85k one day, then over $3M the next. Not sure how that happened. |

It'll probably be about 1.7-1.8 million. Mckegg and Kravstov are pretty much a wash when one gets sent down for the other. Boo probably gets sent down and thats another bit of change. They would have 3 million if they also bury Smith. |

Thought they only save $825k by burying Smith...therefore, it makes no sense doing that since he can also play 4th line, if need be.
McKegg, Andersson, Boo...the combination of two of them will be sent down...tht would free up $1.4M or so. Perhaps once waivers come to be this $$$ will free up to resign ADA. |
