I'd rather be overweight. That sounds horrible.
Weight is something I've struggled with. There is no such thing as a quick fix or magic pill. Losing weight and keeping it off is something that is a daily struggle for me. I've learned to stop beating myself up over something that for the most part is unattainable long term without feeling like I'm sacrificing my sanity as well.
I workout 5-6 days a week for 30-45 mins a day. I take walks as well. I try to eat a well rounded diet most days, but definitely loosen the reins here and there. Life is too god damn short to be stressed about whether or not I'm 10lbs less than I was last month. If I want a cookie or some ice cream, I'm going to have it. Just not every day.
Just my $.02 anyway. - HonkFortheGoose
There actually is - go to a plant-based diet. I know that's heresy around here but it is absolutely a magic pill. My stomache disappeared and I don't crave food all of the time. I feel better than I've ever felt. The food is what makes us sick and overweight.

There are a lot of large mammals that are really really large and their diet is plant based. I think you have to concentrate on the in and the work out.

List of guys you’ve been very, very wrong about:
1. Sam
2. Shattenkirk
3. O’Reilly
and soon to be...
4. Risto 😁😁😁 - jdfitz77
Players I've been right about
ROR "You trade for players like him, not trade them"
Okposo - Didn't want him
Moulson - Didn't want him
Sam - "will be a 50-60 pt 2nd line center" when we thought he could play center, but best forward in the draft?
Sekera - didn't want him run out of town for years while others did
Tyler Myers - quiet about him for his first 2 or so years then he poop the bed and I noticed he couldn't complete a pass, was a wuss in his own end would have been 5-6 D if he didn't have the reach and size which he didn't use. No D to build a team around, see ya.
Risto - Not as bad as many make him out to be, has value and skill, not a #1 but not someone you give away. Will flourish if he is traded. I like him more than most, the team is better with him unless they score on the trade.
Players I Was Wrong About
Sam Bennett- Thought he would be better than Sam but never really saw him play just based on style, stats and age vs ho hum Sam
Maybe Bogo but he has been injured too much to get an accurate read, not that I thought he was an all star just a solid top 4 which he is often when he is healthy.

Personally, I think that there may be more to it when it comes to Risto but then again, I have been wrong often in my life. - Over50
because people believe these "rumor" sites
trade deadline
draft
free agent
how many times are people going to read "risto will be traded"
I have heard other teams inquire about him, but our gm has not reached out to a single team to try to trade him
did risto say he wanted to be traded, yup frustrated for a losing culture
and he also said he was happy to be here last week
crazy how some on this site, praise someone that wants to be traded, for money (Jalen Ramsey) and talk trash about a YOUNG d man that has been here a while and just wants to win
Botts had 3 chances to trade Risto, he didn't do it at the deadline, draft or July 1st
Despite the fake news, he probably will not be traded for the remainder of this calendar year, and some of the haters at some point need to accept this
The Bills also ended Favre's consecutive start streak, career really, he attempted 7 passes two weeks later and then didn't play the final 2 games of the year.

For the record, I am perfectly fine with Risto staying put.
What does it matter if he's 8.4% or 12%? It's irrelevant. He's either good, or he's not. A couple points of BF% isn't going to change that. It is possible to be in good cardio-pulmonary shape and not be 6% BF.

I just thought of this. If we knew that Sam would never play center would the Sabres have selected a winger 2nd overall in 2014 when they needed centers and they are more valuable in many peoples estimations unless that winger is all world?
you should be, he is not going anywhere - homiedclown
I still think we are a better using him as a trade chip but that’s just me. If the offers aren’t good enough however then ultimately keep him. He’s a good player but also our best shot at getting a top 6 forward as well.
