Pandas. They rarely eat meat even though they're physiologically carnivores. - Wetbandit1
Right - I can't get over the fact you're comparing other animals and their individual biological systems to humans. There is a reason that so many great athletes are making the change. Hell, Schwarzenneger made the switch this week.
I don't want anyone to think I am preaching any of this - I've got nothing to sell. Watch the documentary "forks over knives" on netflix or youtube if you want more info (or PM me).
I still think we are a better using him as a trade chip but that’s just me. If the offers aren’t good enough however then ultimately keep him. He’s a good player but also our best shot at getting a top 6 forward as well. - Swedish_Jesus
you drafted eichel, casey, cozens, reinhart and traded for skinner to be your top 6

Players I've been right about
ROR "You trade for players like him, not trade them"
Okposo - Didn't want him
Moulson - Didn't want him
Sam - "will be a 50-60 pt 2nd line center" when we thought he could play center, but best forward in the draft?
Sekera - didn't want him run out of town for years while others did
Tyler Myers - quiet about him for his first 2 or so years then he poop the bed and I noticed he couldn't complete a pass, was a wuss in his own end would have been 5-6 D if he didn't have the reach and size which he didn't use. No D to build a team around, see ya.
Risto - Not as bad as many make him out to be, has value and skill, not a #1 but not someone you give away. Will flourish if he is traded. I like him more than most, the team is better with him unless they score on the trade.
Players I Was Wrong About
Sam Bennett- Thought he would be better than Sam but never really saw him play just based on style, stats and age vs ho hum Sam
Maybe Bogo but he has been injured too much to get an accurate read, not that I thought he was an all star just a solid top 4 which he is often when he is healthy. - GilPerreault11
I have seen several post recently expressing the same sentiment.
I'm not aware of anyone suggesting to "give him away" in any posts I have read.
Most posts about trading him revolve around
- leveraging him for offensive help
- recognition that to get a top 6 player, Sabres need to add in most cases
- the fact they now have too many good Rhd with similar to better skill sets that no make him redundant.
But unloading him for next to nothing as the "giving him away" statement suggests

Is that good enough, Cozens and Casey aside since we don't know how good they are. Is Eichel, Reinhart and Skinner strong enough to be the foundation to win a Cup from the forward ranks? Debateable.

I'd rather be overweight. That sounds horrible.
Weight is something I've struggled with. There is no such thing as a quick fix or magic pill. Losing weight and keeping it off is something that is a daily struggle for me. I've learned to stop beating myself up over something that for the most part is unattainable long term without feeling like I'm sacrificing my sanity as well.
I workout 5-6 days a week for 30-45 mins a day. I take walks as well. I try to eat a well rounded diet most days, but definitely loosen the reins here and there. Life is too god damn short to be stressed about whether or not I'm 10lbs less than I was last month. If I want a cookie or some ice cream, I'm going to have it. Just not every day.
Just my $.02 anyway. - HonkFortheGoose
Time-restricted feeding, and you don't have to change what you eat, just when you eat. It helps, definitely, but you don't HAVE to. I only eat in a 9-10 hour window everyday and otherwise have not changed anything and I steadily lost a bunch of weight until I had a major surgery and was in the hospital for 6 days, that really screwed me up, and I gained a little bit after, but I'm back to losing now that I'm back to the regimen.
There's a bunch of stuff out there on it. You don't have to worry about not being able to eat carbs like with keto, or not eat animal proteins on vegan/plant based. It sucks the first few weeks, but you get used to it pretty quickly.

With this foundation you should be playing in the second round in spring of 21

We also traded for Montour, Jokiharju, and Miller. With Borgen and Laaksonen waiting in the wings and Nelson and Bogo who can play in a pinch if needed.

Joker and Miller can play both wing back and sweeper. Montour and Risto can full back and centre back, and Risto and Dahlin are classic defensive midfielders

I honestly thought Mitts was going to breakout last year. I’m hoping I was just a year early and it’s not a cause for worrying.

He should be in players I was right about section I didn't. 8th overall centers usually take more than 5 games, solid as they were, to break out and be 2nd line centers. Another reason I didn't want ROR dealt.

Keller and Boeser did just fine after their 5 game end of the year auditions the following year.
Last summer twitter was a poop fest arguing about who was the better prospect between Petterson and Mitts.

Damn if they had ROR in that top 6 it could be a solid Cup foundation. Oh, well.
