The only thing I may have in common with that guy is a raging sports addiction to the point I have to come on a message board and shoot the breeze with middle aged men. - Swedish_Jesus
The biggest thing you have in common with that guy, by your own words, is THE BASEMENT. |

Homie has said all summer Risto wasn’t going to be moved. It’s the 1st week of camp and he’s still here. - Sabretooth9
I think you missed my point.. I wanted a game out of it. You just regurgitated everything I already knew. Fun sucker 2.0 |

Nah, keeping the guy that isn’t good over the kid who is more than likely very good is absolutely the wrong thing to do when you’re actually trying to win hockey games - OneKaneOneCup
So, what? Just give Risto away for a bag of pucks then? Your blind hatred of certain players is astounding. So astounding that you'd rather get rid of a guy and not get value back just so you can play a rookie who got sent down after less than good play. Regardless of "the coach didn't like him" if he was that good he would've stayed up, and the GM could've gotten more than Alex Nylander for him. This is not to say I think he's bad, but stashing him in the AHL for the time being is the right move if they can't get a good deal for Risto. He got burned big time on the ROR move because of an artificial timetable, he's a bit gun-shy, and rightfully so. It would be the height of stupidity to just give him away so an unproven rookie can play. Remember when Guhle was already better than Risto before last season started? |

We get it. You don't like Risto. You don't need to keep posting it. Calling him bad or horrible or not good is making you look pretty dumb. Kind of like you know very little about hockey. Maybe it's just that you don't watch the games or don't understand what you are watching. But hey, you probably think you're the smartest guy in the room, so at least you have that going for you. |

A. SABRES89 repeatedly claimed, in May and June, that he liked to eat pizza with green olives.
B. SABRES89 has not been seen since May and June. There is no sign of him.

this is not a dig on e-rod as I feel e-rod can play LW fine
Asplund should get a serious look for the 3rd center - homiedclown
I like Asplund
I think if he’d had a strong year from beginning to end last season, then he’d have a better shot at making the roster
As it is,
I think he’ll be sent down to continue his growth from the end of last year
Hopefully he gets a decent amount of call-up time this season though |

Let me preface by saying;
if true, who cares?
Why the need to boast about it?
Are you lacking reassurance in your personal life that you pursue it on a hockey rumor site?
I learned long ago;
allow others to do the boasting for you, it is much more rewarding in the end.
Have a good day and ciao for now.

To use an approach common on HockeyBuzz-
I’ll take a Hall of Fame coach’s opinion over yours.
Jokiharju was solid in his 40 games in the NHL- solid enough for Quenneville to play him as a 19 year old on his top pair.
He’s also been nothing but impressive this summer from camp to the prospects tourney to his first pre-season game.
He’s an NHL’er. With a relatively high ceiling. Who plays the kinda game that meshes well with your young stud.
You really think Ristolainen’s value is going to increase here? He wants to leave, he’s being demoted on a team that already isn’t very good. Most if not all of the NHL knows he’s not a very good player at this point.

Does his broken hand fall on the same side as Cozens? If so, they both replaceable. |
