How bad of a groin injury did Frost have before? That sounds like something that could nag at him all season if he isn't properly rested.

I think they should operate on it now, just to be safe.

Bill

Do you think Frost being sidelined means he will start the year with the Phantoms?

- rmedaska

Wait, is Frost playing today or not?

Frost said he was a little sore on Monday. Felt fine on Tue but stayed off-ice as a precaution. No issues in his rehab skate on Wed and felt 100 percent in morning skate today.

Mentally, I have a low tolerance for watching that G on the right part (PP1) if it’s not immediately successful. I know that is unfair, and it is preseason, along with that unit’s first game. I just don’t want to remember the PP feelings from last season or see another stat on career low shooting percentage.

How about the PP feelings from previous seasons when they had one of the best PP's in the NHL with Giroux on the half wall in that spot? The issue with the PP last season was not design or scheme. It was execution.

If G was used to being on the left, I was equally used to watching him work magic on the left. My brain isn’t transferring those good feelings to the right side...yet.

Haha. Well played. Flyers have released a statement directing any frost inquiries to the team mortician!

I agree with you, Giroux should primarily be on the other side. His stick sees more of the ice and better angle to the net. Can't one time from the the right side.

Ahhh! The same guy used for Neuvy. Glad to see he still has a job with the organization. Thought they would have given him a pink slip after Neuvirth wasn't resigned.

I wa hoping to see Zamula with a longer look, seemed deserved and that it would benefit the player. Thoughts on this Bill?
- coffee junkie

there was no way he cracked our roster best to send him back down he can't even play in the AHL

What are the odds that one of the normal suspects makes a posts complaining that "So much for Hayes as the second line center"

I thought this right side experiment was dead, how is this still a thing? It didn't go well last year.
