Why would Frost play if he’s hurt?

Chabot signed 8 x 8

Not a bad deal for a guy with one good season under his belt.

Im sure being told JVR and Jake are your wings also acts as a healing factor.

Ek's rumor of Flyers interest in Laine but the Peg needs RH D Probably nothing to it but its still preseason so its ok to think about Who would they be giving up We're not really straong on RH, Heck I think this is the first time in years we could roll 3 RH in a game

NJ's Gusev with a beauty last night against the Rangers. Also another Devil Russian rookie with a falling down Forsberg dazzler.

I'd give this a likelihood score of 0.000001% chance of happening. Ek's "rumors" are almost always nothing more than clickbait to drive traffic. There's really no scenario for Laine that works for the Flyers roster AND cap-wise.

Whatever Secretariat's odds were at Belmont. Greater than that.

I thought this right side experiment was dead, how is this still a thing? It didn't go well last year.
- ClaudeFather

I think they'd have more success giving JVR a right handed stick for powerplays than pushing G to the right side.

I almost have to think the players pushed for this because of how little sense it makes. Nothing on tape points to it being successful.

I just don't understand flipping left shot Voracek and right shot Giroux so that neither can be in a position for one timers. Not that Jake has a great shot but still. Just seems to me that it will be easier to defend against because that whole facet of the PP is eliminated without the PK having to do anything at all.

Amazing he could recover from a bad groin in a week. It took Danny Briere forever to shake those off.

I disagree with that completely. It is very conceivable that Hakstol was not aware that was going on covertly. Any blame for that falls on Murphy and Hextall.
- MJL

Sure it’s “conceivable “ and I’m not laying “Blame” anywhere. I’m just thinking at some point Hak had to know about Murphy but there really wasn’t much he could do about it. I guess I’m just drawing from my own experience in what kind of shenanigans go on in high management situations. If somebody doesn’t have a clue as to what is going on in their own backyard for 5 years it speaks for itself. I guess only Hak really knows the answer.

Depends on the severity of the injury. I'm guessing Frosts was minor. They clearly said he had some discomfort one day. Kept him out and it felt better the next. And that he felt 100% the day after that.

I just believe that before you criticize someone for something and pretty much call them incompetent, you should have actual evidence rather than just speculation. Have you ever heard of an assistant coach being a "spy" for a GM before? What reason would Hakstol have to be focused on watching for something like that. I personally think that he had better and more important issues to focus on.

I'm having trouble understanding why something like that would even be on Hakstol's radar.

Criticizing him for not seeing it is about as nit picky as it gets IMO.

Wow really? I thought this was an opinion page. I guess my opinion was only based on some articles that I read. I didn’t realize criticism without hard “evidence” wasn’t allowed. Thanks for telling me the rules. Sincerely sorry if I offended you or Hak.

Update: Morgan Frost will not be playing on tonight's game.

What was reported by Flyers doctor's as a minor groin pull was actually a missing arm that was reportedly suffered several weeks ago and went undiagnosed by Flyers doctors. Frost has since lost such massive amounts of blood that he is now dead.

Flyers management will give updates on his condition as it progresses.
