Update: Morgan Frost will not be playing on tonight's game.
What was reported by Flyers doctor's as a minor groin pull was actually a missing arm that was reportedly suffered several weeks ago and went undiagnosed by Flyers doctors. Frost has since lost such massive amounts of blood that he is now dead.
Flyers management will give and update on his condition as it progresses. - jmatchett383
St. Louis won the trade!!
Edit: I was going to say that at least we got (that guy that I can't remember's name that was a salary lead weight) for a couple of seasons |

Hextall did okay in some areas but he was too stubborn for his own good. He might still be here if he had fired Hakstol long before they both got the axe. He never resolved the goalie issues his whole time and continued to sign Neuvirth and Elliott when it was obvious one could not stay healthy and the other hot and cold. Still waiting on Morin to pan out. However the drafting of Hart, Farabee, Frost, Rubstov etc has given the organization a bright future. I still resent the Schenn trade but hopefully Frost will eventually make me forget, lol. I really have a lot of faith in the Flyers going forward as Hart will stabilize the goaltending drought, Sanheim has emerged, Provorov should break out this year and hopefull Gost can get his mojo back. I also really like our third line, argualby the best in the league if it is Patrick between Lindblom and Farabee if Konecny and Voracek stay on lines one and two. That third line would be a threat to score and give the team three scoring lines. Sorry for the long one but I am stoked for FLyers Hockey 2019-20 edition. |

Too funny, you are right imo and Frost will never be what Schenn has provided for the Blues. Team mvp his first year and a Stanley cup the second. Morgan will have to win a cup, win the scoring race and maybe somebody will forget Lehtera. I just do not see it happening. I like Farabee , Rubstov and Ratcliffe better as prospects. Frost needs ahl time to get stronger and then he will have a chance. |

You realize that Farabee was part of that trade too, right? |

Amazing he could recover from a bad groin in a week. It took Danny Briere forever to shake those off. - SuperSchennBros
He felt fine after practice on Sunday, felt it tighten up a bit that night. Bothered him a little on Monday. Felt fine by Tue, but stayed off the ice as a precaution. |

Wow really? I thought this was an opinion page. I guess my opinion was only based on some articles that I read. I didn’t realize criticism without hard “evidence” wasn’t allowed. Thanks for telling me the rules. Sincerely sorry if I offended you or Hak. - Djapana
Wow, I'm sorry, did you not realize that I was giving an opinion on the opinion that you were offering. Seems there is some confusion that I was somehow telling you that you're not allowed to have an opinion or that criticism was not allowed. You didn't offend me. I can't speak for Hakstol. |

You do know Farabee was taken with one of the picks acquired in that trade as well, right?

Schenn and Frost are two totally different types of players. Frost has a good chance of eventually being something in between Vaclav Prospal and Claude Giroux (the latter being an extraordinarily high bar). Guess what? I'd take a similar career to Prospal's (1,100+ NHL games despite not breaking into the league until age 22, 765 points, two seasons around 80 points) and would still gladly take two first-round picks for a nice complementary but non-nucleus player. |

I agree on Frost and that the Flyers got a nice return for Schenn. However, he is more than just a complimentary player in this league. He is a key player for the Stanley Cup champions.

He is a complementary player, IMO. O'Reilly is the center who drives that engine. Schenn had a great first half-year with the Blues, and then fell off the map in the second half for a team that missed the playoffs. And while he had a strong playoff and came through at key times on the run to winning the Cup last season -- there are no passengers come playoff time for the team that wins it all, 5 goals and 12 points in 26 playoff games after a 17-goal, 54-point regular season --- which is in line with most of his Flyers point totals, although lower than normal on goals -- are the stats of a high-quality complementary piece but not a top dog. More to hockey than just scoring stats, and Schenn does bring physical presence and intangibles, but he's not a first-line player on a true Cup contender.
Kevin Hayes slots about the same for the Flyers now. Really nice 2C behind Couturier but I wouldn't want him as my top line center. |

Haha. Love it. He was pronounced dead by team doctors. He was transported to a better hospital where his condition was updated to alive. |

Is that Provorov wearing an “A” with Giroux, Couturier, Voracek, JvR, Gostisbehere and Niskanen in the line up? |
