I do think some context is necessary too. Dressing up like a specific character or person is a little different than wearing that cartoony "Jim Crow" era blackface.

Hiring Kinsella and saying you’ll seek an alliance with Scheer is hardly thought out..

If you believe that anything close to perfection exists in current day federal politics then I've got a bridge to sell you

If you have money, you don’t give af how expensive thing are. The weather in SJ still isn’t really “summertime” weather, it’s kinda chilly there. It would depend on personality.. but I assume the best cities to live in the NHL would be something like..

LA
TB
FLA
ANA
VAN
CAR
SJ

ARI
VGK

Gotta be on the ocean, lol..

I’m not rich by any means...but I have a few friends who sold their multi million dollar company, another who is very well off.

They are one of the cheapest people I know. Just because you are rich it doesn’t mean you aren’t cheap.

Doesn't always mean you are cheap either. Some people like to spend and waste money. This may be first hand.

The one thing that may make an extension palatable is if the Leafs go deep and Muzzin agrees to a buyoutable contract with a moderate discount...

But other than that, no, we don't need a 30+ former #3 d-man for the next half decade

- TheMussel

That would be a JIm Benning move. Dubas doesn't waste cap on slow #3 or 4 Dmen who are in their 30's.

Jim Benning would make the contract un-buyoutable tho

Cyprus lake
Georgian bay
Some parts of erie
Huron
Tobermory
Lake of bays
Parts of lake simcoe

- Fakepartofme

G-Bay, Tobermory are Huron. I’m halfway between LOB and Simcoe.

I like smaller headwater lakes, like this one in Algonquin. Deepest lake in the park.

If someone is asking you to e transfer them 3$ For the stick of gum they bought you, yes that’s cheap and there are people out there like that

Regardless, everyone views money differently. But the whole point was you could be a millionaire and count your pennies when you go out for dinner with friends.

Finnish agriculture exists because they drained swamps in the baltic shield. It's doable.

They do connect yes. For yakking or canoeing the smaller lakes are great, for swimming it depends on the lake

Idk if you’ve ever been to Wilno, first Polish settlement in Canada. It’s super rocky land, terrible for farming, but they tried! They made it work. All the fields are full of boulders, lol.. stone fences everywhere. It’s a pretty area, but there’s no way it was easy to live there back in the day..

Nvm, lol...

Swimming you just don’t want shallow weed lakes, like simcoe or pigeon/scugog.. S.Ontario is kinda gross for swimming..

I’ve lived on lakes all my life and yes, it’s nice for about 2 months of the year, 6 if you’re into winter stuff.. but it has its cons, too. More bugs, more wind, noisy boaters, snow drifts.. I like having water nearby where you can go for an early evening dip.. the Muskoka River was that spot for me this summer.. (frank)in snapping turtles tho lol.

Yea probably.. if you’re about the views.

I’ve always lived on a lake, but now I don’t and I don’t miss it. Maybe the prairies changed me..

Always love the Toronto living during the week and cottage country lakefront living for the weekends.

Such a great lifestyle. Best of both worlds.

Apparently there's lakefront property including cabin out near bancroft that can be had for a fraction of what a house in Toronto costs
