Never happened for me though - underhill14

It’s opposite for me.. I live in cottage country, so the weekend suck, too many people up here. I’m not north enough anymore.. |

Yea probably.. if you’re about the views.
I’ve always lived on a lake, but now I don’t and I don’t miss it. Maybe the prairies changed me.. - Arctic_AARDVARK
I have only lived on the water for just over 2 years, but yes its def windy at times. Dont really notice the bugs here anymore than elsewhere.
But I dont like the property taxes |

Bugs don't bother me so if I can swim, fish and skate a minute from where I sleep I'm a happy camper - TheMussel
Lol.. idk man.. not about the argue this, but I’d love to see you up here in May..
Yeah, that’s how I grew up.. I had a 12’ aluminum boat with 9.9.. I would boat into Bala or North Bay.. go fishing and swimming everyday.. it’s a good life, but there’s more to it than sitting on a dock and reading a book. |

The bugs wouldn’t be as bad on a lake.. unless you have a swamp on the other side of you. The wind keeps them at bay. |

It was racist back then too. People were just dumb bumholes who didn't care. - BINGO!
There's a huge difference between being ignorant and being a racist. While ignorance isn't an excuse I don't believe Trudeau is, or ever was a racist. His actions over the nearly 2 decades since speak volumes to this.
With that said I personally struggle with the hypocrisy. Between this and the Kokanee incident I have a very hard time cutting him any slack when he has made a career of having zero tolerance for others who have made similar mistakes.
Had it been a Liberal candidate he would have forced their resignation. Had it been a candidate from any other party he would have publicly demanded their resignation. So why should he get a free pass? |

He would appear much more virtuous if he came out about it instead of Time. |

Trudeau is no different than most of us here. We recognize that behaviour is inappropriate, but the lines were blurred 20 years ago. I’ve never worn blackface, but if i 20 years ago, I wouldn’t feel bad about it now. We love to punish or cancel people because it makes us feel “better than”...

I feel like people in Ontario that drank a lot of Kokanee when it came out over here (myself included) are like Yanks that say they like Labatt Blue.
"it ain't from here so it must be good"

The problem is that people try to hide this poop instead of showing humility, admitting that they were wrong, apologize, and grow from it. (things that take character) |

Lightning placed Domingue on waivers, I still believe he only had a couple good previous years cause of the team in front of him though. Not sure I would want the Leafs to scoop him up or not. |

Yeah. It’s confusing for people. You have to truly understand why it was wrong in order to apologize sincerely..
And I think PMJT did that. |

I felt the same when he spoke of the importance of taking responsibility for one's actions..
That's different than conveniently taking responsibility for your actions only once you've been caught. |

I agree completely, but I still feel that someone who has gone to such great lengths to build a brand on moral superiority, and holding others accountable, should not get a free pass for such mistakes. |

I struggle to believe it was so racist in 2001, yet he managed to do it in a school of all places multiple times.
Pretty sure you're the slightest bit out of line in a school and you're reprimanded. And it's been like that far before 2001.
Or was it just that JT went to the only schools in Canada were racism was encouraged in 2001. |
