Kasperi Kapanen on William Nylander: "I think he's going to go down as one of the best Swedish players to ever play."

I wonder if he actually believes that or just pumping his buddies tires so he’ll have a good year.

Small, but important clarification to that Kasperi Kapanen quote on William Nylander: "I think he's going to go down as one of the **better** Swedish players to ever play."

Not his fault the Finnish word for "greatest" is "adequate." A cultural failing.

I put some merits of cities in there, maybe a tad biased towards Canada in and around tier 3.

Personally San Jose would be top on my list. Absolutely love the weather there. Definitely expensive, but I can’t imagine a better place to be if you have abundant financial means.

Would be fun to see a list of NMC locations from most common to least. I'm guessing SJ doesn't show up much...

Honestly, there's a couple factors for me that put San Jose a bit lower.

Firstly, I'm a lizard, so it gets a bit chilly there in winter vs my ideal temperature.

The other thing is, the bottom of the bay is.... not the greatest place I've ever visited? Probably wouldn't want to live around there. Living in San Fran is costly as (frank) too, making 10 million a year almost isn't enough to enjoy it. I'd almost live in Santa Cruz if that's where I ended up with hockey player cash.

Like i said, he had a bad year.

But still scored 30.
80% of the league wishes they could have a bad year like that.
Im assuming you guys watch all of the jets games, correct?
Not a laine fan, we know hes a floater, but i didnt watch enough jets games to label him as f'n awful. He scores, thats it. I was pretty sure most knew that

- Fakepartofme

I watch a lot of Jets games. He’s bad enough I wouldn’t want any part of him on my team as anything other than a PP specialist. I honestly don’t think you can teach what his game lacks. But at the same time I think he’s good enough that someone would be willing to pay a premium for him.

I would have a hard time naming another player with both a higher up side and lower down side.

Lol.. Wasn’t there an article floating around a few months ago suggesting Winnipeg was the most common destination on NMCs?

Actually if I’m getting more specific, if I had NHL fa money, I’d probably live in Redwood City and commute. 25C year round and 300+ sunny days.

If you have money, you don’t give af how expensive thing are. The weather in SJ still isn’t really “summertime” weather, it’s kinda chilly there. It would depend on personality.. but I assume the best cities to live in the NHL would be something like..

LA
TB
FLA
ANA
VAN
CAR
SJ

ARI
VGK

Gotta be on the ocean, lol..
