Skates well but gets bounced around quite a bit though. No Miller here to protect him. I think his shot is better than Vantel gives him credit for too.

Oh, I don’t hate Stecher, I find him quite adequate. Just with the addition of Myers and Hughes, his skill set is pushed down the lineup. If it can be replaced by bresbois or Rafferty, then why not trade him while his value is high?

And super young, upside yet as he gains experience. I’ve liked what ive seen, i get people lreferring big guys but ali just want guys that can defend. Comparing him to Hutton is just apples and oranges imo

I can't wait for his game to grow, learn when to make the simple play and not do too much. Gets himself in trouble trying to be too fancy in his own end.

I think it's about his pending contract negotiations. For some guys, grossly over paying (based on performance) doesn't matter, there's lots of cap space, but for others it's a big mistake...
