Please no Domingue bc he is a bad goalie.
The good old eyetest confirms the 5v5 stats posted earlier in the thread.
Not injured neuvirth a much better option.
What happened to the chi backup that went to carolina and didnt succeed btw? |

Scott Darling on a 1y 900k contract would be perfect gamble for the Leafs |

Stop looking at stats.
Darling is a very very solid backup.
Had some mental struggles as a starter.
Likely to do well as a backup on a good team.
You probably laughed as well when i said last season leafs should sign lehner as a backup (80% on here said lehner sucked). |

Trust me, me laughing at you has nothing to do with the players you mentioned stats.
It's that you think a terrible goalie is worth taking a gamble on over a decent/bad goalie.
Hopefully the Leafs get neither of them. But if they do get one then I sure as poop hope it's not Darling. |

I didn't laugh at the thought of lehner, I just didn't think he's come here to be a backup goalie. He's got too much confidence in himself. Always has. Essentially, you don't take into account why he would have come here in the first place. And make no mistake, he took 1.5m from the nyi because he was that confident in himself that he'd be the starter and get a better pay day. |

(frank).. If Marner and Tavares can get the second head of the two-headed monster feeding tonight, that would be great.

I feel like I've been watching a different Liljegren than some guys on here.
And as for the ??? players, Mikhayev and Spezza are most likely gonna be the guys (Mikhayev has looked pretty good).
Once everyone's healthy I think it'll be-
Johnsson - Matthews - Bill Ny
Hyman - Tavares - Marner
Mikhayev - Kerfoot- Kapanen
Spezza - La Chèvre - Moore
Rielly - Ceci
Muzzin - Barrie
Dermott - Schmaltz
Freddy
Neuvirth
I would like to see Kivihalme over Schmaltz, though. - GreatGigInTheSky
Nopers, I think he's been unspectacular but rather solid. Maybe playing a bit conservative and trying extra hard not to make any glaring mistakes -- that's okay by me.
Sandin has looked more dynamic but also more risky. There was a sequence in the 3rd where Mittelstadt caught him with his pants down and flat footed which turned into a very dangerous scoring chance.
I feel like Sandin is the Golden Boy and Lillybust is unfairly maligned as the guy who should obviously be a Norris candidate by now. |
