One more top 6 player could really do wonders

After watching tonight's game, i think the following scrubs should be on the team:

Asplund
Lazar - good forecheck, hits, good on the wall, good speed

They replace 2 of Larsson, Girgs, Sobotka, Okoposo

The rest of them (Cozens, Ruistolanen, Smith etc) - TBD

Olofsson - obviously makes the team.

Still, Krueger said following the win the Sabres plan to give Johansson another game at the position.

If Olofsson is as good as we all think, I will be getting a royal blue #68 jersey next year.

I agree Lazar looks good. I think he'd be a nice uptempo replacement for the Latvian locomotive. I didn't get to watch the game tonight, but the condensed game showed him hacking at a loose puck in front of the net. I've been impressed with his tenacity in every game he has played.

As for Erod, he was out there with a minute left and helped salt the game away with CJ. Looks like they'll have him at RW if Mojo is at 2C and Mitts at 3C. Cant stop the speed, baby

As much as they've moved people around, I don't even want to guess at this point. They've shuffled a lot guys to RW, and just keep shuffling. Hard to get any read on it.

You're a patient man. I disconnect my cable subscription after the season every year, and get it back right around now, usually, so I can watch again. I'm waiting at least until the roster comes out this year.

It's not me saying "zomg I'm done with this team!!!!" so much as, "if you're going to trot out the names I think you are, I'll see you next year."

I've watched enough poopty hockey the past 7 years to last a lifetime. I have no desire to watch any more of it

But these kids aren’t going in the lineup over them unless the Vets look terrible, & the kids look great
Otherwise, we all should be preparing ourselves for the likelihood that the Vets will get the benefit of the doubt

Especially with Larsson & Girgs
Don’t see why they’d have been re-signed unless Botts was planning on slotting them into the lineup

So you're saying the 2 year Prove It deal seems to have worked precisely as desired.
I'd be happy paying him 7.5 - 8.5 for commensurate production.

You will obviously recall the. Eed for the prove it deal was because they didn't know which same they were signing for 7 or 8 years. Now they do.
