It’s only pre season but the flyers look good! Hart looks like a difference maker for sure but with Kevin Hayes you are getting a very good player who when his head is on right is a VERY difficult player to play against! Just keep him away from the blunts and the bong! LOL also av is an excellent coach but he tends to use the veterans to much and ignores the younger players when they make a mistake, especially in the playoffs! But flyers have a real good chance to make some noise! As for my own team I haven’t been this excited about the rangers for a LONG time. Plenty of prospects decent depth except for a legit 2c and a lot to look forward too. Probably no playoffs this year but you never know that’s why they play the games! I would like to see hank get one more shot at a cup but I know it probably won’t happen but he deserves it. He’s been the backbone of he team for a long time! Good luck flyer fans it should be fun! |

Quite possibly the dumbest suggestion I've read in all my time here. |

I’ve got in the back of my mind that once a guy clears waivers, he can still play for the NHL team. I just can’t imagine the Flyers going to Europe without 3 goalies. Lyon is better than Berube.

With presumably the same success they had with Jason Bowen. Hard pass. He either makes the team on merit, or he doesnt.
The Flyers have too many guys right now who might be NHL caliber players. Thats the hand they've been dealt. If they lose a couple through waivers, so be it.

I know right. Obviously, with his size, he should become a goalie. |

With his size and reach and skating ability I think he would make a decent defenseman and penalty killer...

That was dumb but saying "dumbest " is pretty bold given this place. |

Team negative all over Sam Morin already 😂
I think the kid will be fine.
If team negative hates someone they almost always end up being successful. Good call, Team N

Since no NHL team uses Corsi, I wonder what stat they are using to keep Andrew MacDonald out of the league. |

Exactly! "This place".. then why not leave and find a new place if you can't "handle" an idea as insulting and atrocious as making a D a winger.
These kind of responses are why you will all have the same 10 people to talk to ( or argue with) for years to come. God forbid someone offer different ideas (even for discussions sake) without getting chastised or embarrassed.
Is it beyond you guys to just not be part of that particular conversation... or just let it go? Or do you HAVE to make people feel small so you feel better? |

It wasn't even close.. That was the definition of the 15 yard version of a facemask.
Refs are blind apparently. |

Good no call by the refs there. A young guy like Sanders can’t expect to get calls handed to him. Gotta put in the work first. That’s how you get some sandpaper to your game. |

Fair response about being attacked for your opinion, but can’t we agree that it’s silly to suggest players at the NHL level change their position? It virtually never happens. Morin has never shown any real offensive aptitude. He’s spent the last 5 plus years, essentially his entire adult life, learning how to play defense. It’s just not a realistic suggestion. On the other hand who cares what a some knucklehead on a blog site thinks of your opinion? You want to make silly suggestions..go for it. |

Please explain to me how making Morin, who has no scoring touch whatsoever, a winger would be a good move?

You seem like the whiner here. Morin’s been a long shot and a project from day one. When he hasn’t been injured he hasn’t been anything special on the ice. Add to that that the type of game he plays isn’t really in demand in the NHL. Questioning his future in the NHL doesn’t seem so unreasonable. |
