His calmness with the puck and ability to hold on it to without giving it away like a live hand grenade was apparent to me. That's the total opposite of many of the teams bottom 6.
I think he could easily help as the 13th forward with spot starts. Could he help playing a long stretch of continuous games right now? I'm unsure about that. - kingcong39
I don't think he's the kind of guy you want as your extra forward. He needs to be playing games somewhere.
Whatever happened over the winter I don't care; maybe he spied on Belichick? I love the new aggressiveness. He was absolutely too conservative his first couple years.
Even though Eklund has a bad track record, would you as a Sabres fan do this deal?
The two firsts seem tough, but I also hope those to be late firsts so I am interested. I don’t love Laine, just that we are trying to improve the roster.
This does seem like a Murray trade though. - Lilroot9
I think two is a bit steep, I'd go one and another mid-round. Or the second would have to have big conditions like the Sabres have to make the playoffs and Laine has to score 50.

It could be a simple matter of not believing he had the horses to be more aggressive until this year.

patriots and chiefs throw the ball a lot
I am thinking what do we need to win the whole thing
I think our wr's are fine, esp with the te's emerging - homiedclown
Both Daniel Jones and Mason Rudolph got massive YAC TD's from their receiving corps. Allen still needs someone with that big play capability. Brown is sufficient, but not at that level. Knox could get there someday, but he's not yet.
The lack of a gamebreaking receiver is a big reason why they've had these lulls, especially in the 3rd quarter. They're basically running a West Coast offense, by a quarterback that's not equipped for it.

Id say stay the course. Were not a superbowl team yet and 1st round picks are to important to a developing team. I dont want to be the texans trading multiple 1st and barely winning
Now if we beat New England next week I might change my mind but would have to be for a all pro or close to it for position of need....id prob go pass rusher
Front 4 need to get pressure at brady. If not gonna be long day. If they need to blitz to get pressure will be long day. Brady too good. Will see it and pick us apart. The Front 4 is key next week...
Anyone else think somethings up with Tre White...? Seems slow closing and getting beat too much. ( Here come all the “ Did you watch the game. He had 2 interceptions “ )
yo Burger King made a Burger called the impossible whopper ?? Zero meat
I’m in !!! It’s made from plants - gerbe75pts
We have “beyond meat” burgers and snausage up here in Canada.
While it might not be made from shmeat, the amount of calories and fat/ grease is equal. So you get to sound edgy not eating meat while not eating healthy.
It's silly. There was no one from the other team anywhere near him. You shouldn't be allowed to "give yourself up" on that kind of play. Just get up and kneel, or something. A kneel should be the only acceptable "give yourself up" play in the NFL. Period. - U Sir Name
Something something head injuries. Wentz got hit with giving himself up when he was diving for the goal line. So if not getting up and advancing the ball isn't giving himself up that would be weird.
Whatever the reason, as long as he doesn't go back to punting in OT with 4 minutes left with the season on the line. - Wetbandit1
I think 90% of HCs want to be conservative. He's fighting that in his head for sure, and he trusts his D (which he probably should). Most fans probably want him to go for it tied at 14 with 12:00 left in the 4th with a yard to go. Lord knows I did. He's never going to be a gambler, but going for 2 was a nice flash of aggressiveness
