Not sure where you're getting you're information, but Kadri ($4,500,000/year) is having the same pre-season as Rieder (PTO -probably sign for $900,000 or less. On 2-way deal). Both have looked great skating a 200 ft game, fore-checking, and defending, pressuring the opposition, both have positive analytics, and both have yet to score a goal.
Call me crazy, but since the Flames aren't exactly short in the center position, I'll take the player who's playing about the same, but makes about 1/5 of the other. We do still need to sign Tkachuk , and Rieder actully fills a need for the Flames! |

You know he just posts nonsense to get people to respond, and that you just look like a fool and play right into his hands when you say stuff like you'd rather have Rieder over Kadri.
That being said, trading Czarnik if anyone wants him and signing Reider wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. |
